I just got into 3d resin printing and your videos are fire. Thank you for these tutorials. They are the best I have seen on Lychee. Liked and sub'd.

Hey bud I just started resin printing again. It’s been to hot in my garage during summer temps so I gave up only because of calibration. Temp was like 110-120f. I had to wait a few months for cooler weather. I had already learned a lot from you and j3d just by reading/watching your guys info. This is what got me on the right track to begin with. After a few months off I forgot it and had to revisit the info. I’m back on the right track now and there’s new options in lychee and shit hell yeah. I want to say thank you to everyone especially you and j3d. It’s a mess and confusing but damnit it works when I listened to you guys. I gained knowledge even tho I didn’t know how to use it, it’s better than a failed print. Thanks for keeping up and posting videos. I hope you all prosper. Thank you for sharing the knowledge and taking the time to explain it. That means a lot and helps people if they’re willing to listen to the entire thing dude. I Love it man. I want to go to fdm but nah I can’t. I’m barely grasping sls after a year. My stuffs outdoors in my garage and it’s hot. So was thinking fdm for functional but na not yet, I’m firing up my two resin printers again for the first time in like 7 months. So far one is going good. Calibrated with the cubes and cones. I saved the profile on lychee along with some notes of my ambient temp during print for calibration. Also listed brand and color and type of resin. Too many people save their settings to that resin library thing and they do suck. Way off. I figured the hard way before I saw your guys info online man and believe me it’s still a struggle. Little by little tho, try fail, try again and if successful then see what differences there were. I love 3d printing because it’s a challenge (for me) and I feel like o learn something new. Best part is painting. I rushed it and ruined my brushes because I didn’t read instructions but I’ll get some more soon and try again. Thank you to everyone involved in sharing the knowledge. ❤

Oh man! Thanks so much for writing such a nice message. This kind of stuff is what really keeps me motivated. I'm really glad you're finding my stuff helpful to you. I'm really working hard to find some more time to make content. I planned to do so much more this yeah but I've just not been able to carve out the time.

Nice one Ty, another great tutorial, good to see someone that has the in depth knowledge to back up what they are talking about! And timely too, got a bunch of bases to do. Watched Faux's latest offering and it's clear he doesn't know what he's talking about, absolute car crash!

I saw his video too. While this wouldn't exactly be my recommended method, do be fair, I think his workflow is nice and simple. Easy for a brand new user to get the ball rolling for themselves without too much hassle. Anything that makes this process a little easier for a newcommer is alright with me. The more people printing we have, the better the industry will be. More advancements, better values and its good for all of us. Seems like you're at the point where you're ready to step up to the next level of supports and you outgrew Faux's method. Thats a good thing for sure too :)

The projections are pretty sick sorry for flooding the comments. I remember how you said it’s better to understand why before you do it. That’s what I like about your videos man straight up. No magic, maybe some magic, but if you do not understand why it does what it does then you’ll never know. That’s the truth so yeah I appreciate you bringing that to light. Dude when I first got my printer at the end of 2022, I thought “shit download a file and I’m done press print it starts” 😂😂😂😂😂 Oh boy oh boy oh boy how stupid I was. I’m still stupid, I am learning though and it’s only because of your content and the channel.

This is such a great and powerful new feature, its ALMOST one click double row method. I hope they continue to improve it a bit.

You might have mentioned this in the video and I keep missing it, but I see the Double Border button in my/your border tab. I'm assuming you wouldn't want to use this because it puts a uniform second row of supports around the boarder, behind the first row, and thus adding tons to the top of the base where they aren't needed? Thanks and love the videos and tutorials-- the best I've found!
@TableFlipFoundry
@TableFlipFoundry 10 ай бұрын
Good question. I didn't mention it and should have. Sadly the second border button won't allow you to have the correct support size for some reason. Hopefully lychee can fix this a bit

@@TableFlipFoundry thanks. I guess I'm just confused by the angles. I'm very new to 3D printing so this is very new territory for me. Also, your layout is different than mine. I AM running Pro as well.

Pity they don't have multiple options for presets for this, having 1 for the initial row then another for the 2nd heavy row would make things even easier
