I'd like a story about a superhero who only deals with crumbling infrastructure. Captain Roadwork can use his powers to warp reality, and uses his incredible powers to reorient the fabric of space and time to repair roads, buildings and bridges. While some people are pissed that he refused to do anything when something like Lord Spacedoom coming from the Andromeda Galaxy to enslave us all happens; he quietly explained that every day he spends fighting the likes of Landkraken and Nether-Jesus, is another day that the bridge over on Canal Street comes a little closer to collapsing. He's not looking to save the world in a grand gesture, but he goes out every day to try and make the world a little bit better, a little bit safer, and he does it without expecting reward or thanks.

He's the hero all other heroes depend on, because without him they'd be up to their necks with debt from all the lawsuits and fines from the city state if he didn't repair all the collateral damage they created. They only have to deal with all the fines about disturbing productivity and the like, but that's what Dr. Lawyer and his sidekick Secretary Accountant are for. (And before you ask, no, he's not a lawyer with a doctorate, he's in fact a lawyer with a medical degree. His specialty is invasive neurosurgery.)

Well, first off, Ahem...: kzbin.info/www/bejne/haPUe2Wcf7Z6ock Second: in one of the actual "Kick Ass" comics (can't recall if it was the original run, or the sequel), we learn that Big Daddy gave Hit Girl a 'special powder made by scientists' to only be used as a last resort..... yes, it was a hit of cocaine to 'speed up her reflexes' 9_9 In the 'Kick Ass 2" movie they substituted that for a shot of 'Adrenaline', which Hit Girl used on someone she was fighting (can't recall who it was without googling), thus avoiding suggesting Hit Girl would use any drugs at all (the comic was REALLY darker than the movie).
