One really good tip I heard a while ago. If you just had a fight and are unsure if the enemy used the heal summoner spell, you can check their debuffs. If they were just healed recently, it will show there

Solid advice! I might even add that you can "create" your own roam timers as a support by helping to shove the wave, whether to get vision or to take up space for a objective play :)

yo love your videos man, i just had 1 question. im a diamond bard support main. is it ever worth ditching my adc if he is completely clueless ( for example a sejuani otp playing vayne. and the other thing i wanted to ask is if its not a bad thing that i roam on a roam timer after crashing a big wave and top jg mid and me fight for herald or something, and the fight prolongues too much to the point where my ad is supposed to be pushing, should i have rotated to bot or kept fighting for herald. i would stay for herald 100% of the times unless i see the adc as the best win con in the team.

First of all I think you should not focus on team mates main championpool since you will see anyway how good or bad they are ingame (maybe he has another account playing vayne only on even better mmr). You should always keep playing around the adc and using max. the best roam timings aka. the usual timers like wave crash or recalls until the lane is completely over - because in that case you could get your team a herald. If you do so and go for it (ping your jungler 4 times that you will come and type in chat "weakside bot stay under turret" while you walk up) the enemy can do 3 things meanwhile. first, they can do nothing if they are too bad to react. second going for drake (your adc can probably farm then). or third push and dive. if they do so, you have about a 15 percent chance that your adc played safe under turret and was somehow able to get at least one counter kill out of the enemy dive and you are suddenly back in game

@00nexus i mean the comment is 6 months old and you are explaining concepts that a high gold player should be aware of. either way ty for the reply but i still found my way of playing to be way more successful. climbed to emerald 1 with 71% wr and close to 5kd in 100ish games, then i got 2 week banned after i lost 3 games in a row due to bad team and then ran it down purposefully for a while finishing in e3 0lp but like this game is unplayable, i have over 60% wr overall and 70+% ever since i entered emerald. i was playing in d4 lobbies but my gains were still in emerald 4 so i was not even gaining 20lp per win while losing close to 30 while playing witb people that currently outrank me, how does any of that make sense

@00nexus and ye idk if my jg is a harvan otp with 90% wr in the past 20 games and my adc is a seju main tiltqueuing or autofilled on adc with 35% wr in the past 20 games ofc i will play for the jungler like what? idk if a player mains noskill champs that only require game knowledge in order to climb, ofc i wont play gor him when he is playing a mechanically intense role. like i have gotten those kinds of people ahead in lane before and played for them, but i had much more success playing for people that are on role

You take the L and then you play 500 more games and keep making that same correct play, until you're in an elo where that rarely happens. If you play correctly every game, yes a lot of those games you will lose since teammates, but you will go positive. Also I've found that using the "defend this turret" ping can remind the adc they're 1v2, and then they usually play back and wait for crash.

A couple months late but honestly just continue making what you think is the correct play. It doesn't really matter if you're in lane or not, if the ADC messes up the wave or plays badly he'll always end up in a worse position, independent of your presence or not. Now, don't dip botlane just because you feel like it, but if your ADC pushes a big wave into tower and stays in lane on 1.3k gold and you go roaming, it's kinda on him for just being shit, and you staying bot wouldn't have changed much especially if you got something else done on the map. TL;DR just do what you think is best, if something bad happens that you didn't expect take 5 seconds to look at it, consider what could've been done to avoid it, and then move on. As the saying goes, the only reason ADC players can climb is because the enemy team also has an ADC.
