As much as I know more people want to move to Hawaii because of the beauty and culture, it actually hurts the community that lives there. There was a study done awhile back that said that every person who moves and buys a property in Hawaii, a whole family ends up being priced out. In July 2018 to July 2019 over 3,700 residents had moved because the cost of living was getting out of hand and still it has been getting worse. Iam said it himself, him and his family were literally “priced out of paradise”. Me and my family being another one ourselves. I had moved back in 2019 near the end of the year because our rent was increasing and everywhere we looked was either just as expensive or worse. Finding jobs there to even afford the living is slim pickings and a lot of companies either hire from mainland if they can’t find someone. Education system in Hawaii is a joke and housing market is simply greedy and our government doesn’t do anything to truly help the entire community. What’s even worse is that a lot of people who buy homes in Hawaii are usually mainland or foreign buyers who want to profit off it it by flipping it or charging ridiculous rental prices for it. It’s truly insane. If more and more local people end up moving to the mainland, what is Hawaii without it’s community of Native Hawaiians and other Polynesians and locals who were born and raised there?

I was born and raised here in Hawaii I have all my family born and raised here, there’s no place else we want to be, We are Blessed to be in a Beautiful Place, That’s Why Iam Wants To Come Home , All my Friends and long time neighbors all look out for each other all locals Born And Raised, We All own our own homes , Hawaii’s Education System Educated Us To Earn Good Wages ! I have A-Relative Who’s Now In A Public High School Here In Hawaii Who’s Taking College Courses Prepping For Her College Years Of Becoming a Surgeon ( Doctor) ! When we want to go away from the islands for a while there are Planes and then we come home ! I Have No Polynesian or Hawaiian Blood But Was I Born Into The Hawaiian Culture That I Love And Respect ! We Are Ohana Hawaii Is Home !
