I’m glad NK added the retry last round button in CHIMPS; it’s nice not seeing Chris stress the hell out watching the end of the track for Bloons.

My only issue with it is that it kind ruins the point. Now it's just himps. You still have the black border to go for, though, so it fine. In any case, it makes chimps overall less daunting.

@@conquelicuot oh yea, it definitely is, I completely agree. It's an amazing change, even if it sacrifices a bit of the challenge of chimps. At least it removes the black border, so you still have that to go for.

Beast Handler isn't one of the worst. People just underrated it because buying 4 extra towers is too hard for them.

@@DifferentChangesit's just giving you the money that the bloons going into the trap would give you anyway, you get the money when the trap disappears instead of when the bloons go into the trap. the bonus cash does disappear in CHIMPS

A 24/24 golden eagle can move moabs back to the designated spot. It could've given you a way to have more control when there are a lot of bfbs/zomgs

Your shark did incredible only because it did all the damage against ceramics, and producing many Bloons at once clogged that careful high damage.

I personally found my support only CHIMPS run to be easier than Military Only (I didn't want to use Apache Prime because that would've been an easy answer), but I also did them on different maps, so that may have had a lot to do with the relative difficulties.

I did this awhile back, BUT it was before the Beast Handler and i really only used Engineers and 2 MIB villages

Is there a reason you don't put the cleansing foam as far up the track as possihle? It's driving me nuts that it takes that long to clear the camos and let your towers start shooting. Sorry for the tiny nitpick. This is a great video, I just wasn't sure if there is something I don't know.

4:41 i vaguely recall the foam upgrade letting sentries pop leads now , similar to how cross pathing necromancies with top path lets the necro-bloons pop purples and go further than normal

@sampfrost however if you think I'm wrong you can check the wiki. It explicitly says they do. deal damage to bloons they touch (including Purple and Lead Bloons)

There really isnt much to say about spiked balls so it’d make for a boring strat. It also can’t become a 5th tier in Chimps so that’s another reason.

I actually did something similar in sandbox to just test something. I might try it as a personal challenge soon. Only allowed one of each type of beast handler (not including mergers) and you have to upgrade them equally with one village and any one primary monkey. It's probably easier with max monkey knowledge but I'm still not there

SJB! I have a C.H.I.M.P.S challenge I want to see you try. You only place 5 towers. And it can only be one from each class (primary, military, magic, support) and a hero. Example. Ettiene, 1 Boomerang, 1 Machinegunner, 1 Apprentice, and 1 Engineer.

Spiked mines is still a really over looked tower. Really good at mid and even some late game ceram popping without having to commit the 32k to permaspike

I've been sleeping on beast handler but I beat chimps with asauda and constantly upgrading the whale/meg (with a berserk on asauda)

I really feel like you slept on the sentry master. It 100% can carry through all the rounds. I know it works about but the XXL trap is good, but it can't do anything for MADs
