David and Tamala, thank you so much for sharing this information. I was married to a veteran who served 20 years. He passed away in 2007. During his illness he had episodes of his experiences while serving. This conversation brought back memories for me. I am glad to hear about all the changes in the VA.

Thank you for this! I fell in love with a Vet and didn't know where to start with helping him through his mental health - especially as I dealt with mine. We're separated via distance and emotionally at this time, but if there's a small opportunity to support him and other Vets out there, I think we can truly make a difference in the everyday lives of those who have served our country.

I really appreciate your platform being used in a way to help folks like me to have a better understanding of our veterans. We have family members & friends that served our country well and may never understand why some are not the same person we remember before going into the service. To David & Tamela, thank you for this family dinner discussion & for your wonderful guest who provided information that we needed to hear. I hope this is just the beginning of more dinners that have been missed.💯❤️

I am grateful for David & Tamela Mann shining a light in Mental Health not just in the Military but in the civilian world as often time Mental Health struggles are not taken seriously and not assisted properly or In a timely manner. Not only did this show strike a cord with me, it helped me to learn to help someone who is in crisis and how to find a person that is a good fit for someone. My granddaughter has Mental health struggles and often don't understand it nor do she know how to seek the help she needs. I thank God for you both for bring this situation to light.

Absolutely, as a therapist, please keep shopping for the BEST fit for you! Don’t be ashamed about shopping around for a better fit! We don’t walk around with shoes that are too big or small so it’s ok 👍🏾 Therapist should engage in active and reflective listening meeting the client where they are and going where they are willing to go. Never be ashamed to keep seeking help! We are ALL fighting a battle seen and unseen! You are STRONGER 💪🏾 than you think! ❤❤❤

Hello Mann family. This was a very enlightening conversation. But I had a question for the young man named Terrance. I was wondering if the military was considering changing their method of military training. One reason that the men and women don't seek help is because they are told in training that they are weak if they can't take the treatment they receive during training. So they suffer in silence to show "strength".

Protecting Stolen land fighting for Ur enemy. Deuteronomy 28:68 - And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

God never said Happy Veterans Day: But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.

Sitting with Esau's sister. Hebrews 12:16-17 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

God never said Happy Veterans Day: The vision of Obadiah. Thus, saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom We have heard a rumor from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised. The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, who shall bring me down to the ground? Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

God never said Happy Veterans Day: He said: Malachi 1:4 “Whereas Edom saith, we are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus, saith the LORD of hosts, they shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and the people against whom the LORD hath indignation forever.”
