Re the Vintage Wisdom Oracle - I always pair it with the Tyldwick. These (for me) are the people who used to live in the house! I have also paired it with the Relative Tarot; I guess it would also pair well with the Cartes Postales Tarot.

Re: Playing Cards. I am a playing card reader. I LOVE playing cards. I plan to watch Dani's videos to learn how she reads. Playing cards are not tarot there are many ways to read them but you should decide how you are going to read before you shuffle. Also I am a strong advocate for learning with the 'traditional' layout first (regular Bicycle cards...the French layout) just as when you play cards, you don't really read the number in the corner you know they layout so 5s always look the same. When learning playing cards the layout matters...at least how I was taught...the layout has clues...darn this is long...learn to read with the traditional layout first...then add...in my opinion 😂❤

I felt the same way about divine muses! So I added key words and it has worked really well for archetypal energy in ancestral readings. Vintage wisdom pairs really well with tarot of mystical moments😊 Great video! Thanks for sharing!

For me, divine muses works lovely for ancestor readings alongside the relative tarot. I work with the cards similarly to an archetype or energy based deck. I've also used it for past life readings. I've never read the book, but intend to dive into it soon. The vintage wisdom is more an all-around deck for me --as it aesthetically goes with most vintage, art, or plant decks I own. I like it alongside mystical moments and the dream keeper's tarot too, so I always pair it with those. 💚

I was actually thinking the same thing as you with the first pairing Lisa, I felt that the Witchlings deck feels more accessible then the Practical Magic deck. Also, everything Paulina Cassidy does is so beautiful, I have her Fairy Guidance Oracle deck, which works similarly to the Witchling Deck, you have an illustration of a fairy, a theme or title to the card and then a little message at the bottom, that message is then expanded in the guide book. I absolutely love the Fairy Guidance oracle, it’s one of my favourites, I have had an affinity with Faery since I was little, I got this deck at the beginning of my practice, because I loved the artwork and it felt approachable to me, and it hasn’t disappointed me. The only thing I will say about the Faery Guidance Oracle, is that it’s thinner card stock (the older Llewellyn card stock) however, I have owned this deck for 8 years now and apart from a slight bowing from use, the cards have held up really well, no damage, tearing or warping at all. Though I’m not a riffle shuffler, I’m more a gentle hand over hand shuffler so that may make a difference.

Not sure if you've seen, but the Faery Guidance Oracle is going to be reprinted, probably this year. Pretty sure Paulina announced this and I think it's going to be thru US Games. I remember that it's going to be updated and possibly some new cards added. So keep an eye out! 🥰

Kinda wish more landscape tarots were in... landscape! I found one tarot deck named 'The Landscape Tarot'... which wasn't in landscape :D Lovely decks so far! Oh, just thought I'd mention that Bicycle has a new edition of the Lenormand deck in playing card size, well worth getting with a linen finish.

Alright alright alllriiiiiite. I'm coming back to you the next day with my thoughts. I did participate in the polls. Witchlings is an all time favorite comfort/inner child deck. One of Paulina's masterpieces imho.😊🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️🧚 I let Majestic Earth go, because I just couldn't tarot with it. My favorite part of that deck was actually the keywords. That held me for a while, but someone asked me if they could buy it off me so nicely.... it was the right decision. I still don't have Naturscapes Tarot, I think that one would work for me. I would get Augenblick if I could.... sigh. As much as I love Stephen, none of his decks have stuck for me, but I truly believe he is a great teacher in the community. Can I give some tiny advice for Nellie? Just read the side of the book that is the story. The right hand pages. Never mind the rest at first. The story will direct you to some of the cards (mainly majors I think), and once you've read the story you'll be invested. It's my purse deck. I may have to join Dani's channel JUST for the playing cards. 🤑 Dragons?? I have a couple... we can get into it later. (Video idea file 🥵) I still don't have Smoke Ash and Ember. I don't like Lisa Hunt decks because they all seem too light and filmy to see. 😑 Zeke's Arcana is just too much trapper keeper...I cannot. I am one of the cool kids, AND I 1000% support the bag match conundrum. I want that bag.😢 I never got Divine Muses, and I would love to have it, but I agree with your choice VWO is a great all rounder. Goes great with Stretch Tarot. I would love to see it with the Rosebud Tarot. Great job Lisa. You rock. 🎉

I love these videos and while I am definitely not a fan of "long" videos, I love yours and you make the time fly! Go back after a week and re-watch the section with the Celtic Dragon deck and you'll see that you already know what you want to do with that deck. I'm in the exact same place as you are with Kipper and with the same deck! I even have a playlist on You Tube with Toni's kipper videos saved. Is the kipper deck related to mystical moments tarot? It seems the same images are being used. The other thing with much respect is you have so many interesting things to say about tarot but by speaking very fast you’re sending a message that you believe people don’t have time to listen to you when actually they should.
