98s and the euro ones I believe have the motor in them where u can adjust them up and down from in the car

Correct. I have late headlamps on my 93 and they have a connector for the motor. There is a guide somewhere online how to wire it up. I have never felt the need as there are adjustment screws

Didn’t know that. I don’t recall there being an extra plug. I know that the older headlights have an extra light that was later incorporated into the 98 blinkers.

If silicone wasn't put on the flywheel bolts, that's where the oil will be coming from
