Since you have a flexfuel sensor you won't have any problems with ethanol content the only downside is boost, timing, and fuel will be pulled when below 70% usually. I haven't noticed this with gas or diesel but when you pump E85 anywhere the that fuel is running through it that is metal it gets pretty cold....just one of those weird things you actually notice standing there filling the car and jugs.

Regarding E85 alcohol percentage: The labels will differ between "flex fuel" or "45-85% alcohol" or "E85", but that doesn't mean anything. You are subject to whatever the refinery decides to do for your region at whatever time of the year it is. Usually during the winter, you'll find there's only ~50% booze in "E85", because cold-starting on 85% booze is tough, and people don't like it. For tuning purposes, it would really be better to have actual 80 or 85% booze - that way the upper and lower limits of the engine calibration are actually tested. If you show up for tuning with 50% booze in the tank, the tuner will have to use math and his experience to extrapolate... Which is probably ok, but would be better if that upper percentage was ACTUALLY tested. EDIT: Just saw end of video about the 98% booze... Great plan!

Not to burst anyone’s bubble, but your gonna max out at 650hp. One pump and 1000cc injectors will be maxed out at that point. I highly recommend a dual pump and at least 1600cc injectors to make 700-800ish hp. E85 requires a ton of fuel. Maybe 100 octane will get you to 700. But even then your pushing a fuel limit.

My personal opinion id see what the e85 content it is. if it's only reading in the 51% range than you're not using that gas to its full potential. your car wont make as much power. I went through about 3 or 4 gas stations before a local one opened near me that was reading 81% ethanol content.
