not a drift car. It was the "cheapest way to exceed 200mph" when it was in the used car market at normal prices in the late 2000s early 2010s ($35k could get you a fully stock or moderately built 600hp one) before the "fanboys & sensationalism" era (circa 2013+) where identity and nostalgia alone hype things rather than facts. The supra was a way for "normal people" to hit lamborghini speeds for less than 50 grand while not being a corvette or a porsche. The car did 181mph STOCK in Car and Driver's test back in 1993 in the texas mile. it's stock gear ratios allow it to hit over 200mph without changing anything. so all you need is more power, which is way too easy in a car that goes from 290whp to 450whp WITHOUT changing anything physical - just an adjustment to the ECU. Actual hardware changes can safely and reliably net you 700whp/650ft. lbs without opening the engine.

Yah Cherish it most people wont ever know how it feels to sit in one or even be a passenger. Everytime I pull up to a gas station in mine I always get ppl asking questions and when I offer them a chance to sit in it. People tell me I made one of there dreams come true. Had an 89 toyota supra turbo gt in high school it was kind of a rust bucket, red and brown colored, ended up selling it cause i was a highschooler with no money, couldn't fix it. But boy did I whip that thing, figured out how to drive manual, do controlled slides, learned how to drift,, learned how to do burnouts and donuts in that car. I miss it!!!
