I completed the entire pokedex on my own (sun and moon) and I disagree with this list in many ways. there's no mention of politoad, which took me over 5 hours of rain SOS chaining to get. also, fishing for a 5% Sharpedo and feebas was difficult. also, grinding jangmo-o just to thief a razor claw to evolve and get a weevile was really hard even with compound eyes. it was also a huge grind leveling up pokemon like bagon, dratini, trapinch and beldum to get their fully evolved forms.

For those of you who want your own shiny female Salandit, here's how I got mine! You need a male Sylveon with Cute Charm as the ability to promote female encounters, preferably leveled to 30 or higher for endurance purposes. Make sure you have hundreds of Sitrus and Leppa Berries to restore HP and PP as well as 2 or more Adrenaline Orbs before you do this battle. I brought along my event Snorlax with Hold Back and Yawn as well when the desired mon finally appeared, so maybe bring something that can put the opponent to sleep and inflict damage without killing the target. Find your first Salandit and use the Adrenaline Orb. Switch out from Sylveon to Snorlax (or whatever you brought) and bring Salandit's HP down with Hold Back/False Swipe to provoke it calling for help. Then switch back to Sylveon and start taking out its help. You will want to switch your main target from the original Salandit to a called one after 10-15 plus turns or so to avoid the Salandit struggling itself to death and ending your chain. When actually battling, Sylveon will benefit from the use of Draining Kiss to restore HP and can OHKO enemies easily with that move or Moonblast if it is high enough of a level. It will also be resistant to Dragon Rage (which is one of your biggest threats in this hunt) and will also likely shrug off poison status on its own thanks to it already having a maxed out Pokemon Refresh bond. When HP and PP are running low, use your Sitrus and Leppa Berries respectively to restore lil Sylveon. Mine took a full day to hunt for and it was female on the first shiny. Good luck hunting!! :D

Exceedingly well. I was really mostly looking for a Beldum while keeping an eye out for blue Minor, and really wasn't expecting to get either of them. Caught that first light blue Minior I found with my third beast ball, then found the Beldum and caught that one as well (which, admittedly, took a few more attempts. Still, 40 balls isn't too bad). I really lucked out with the Minor not using self destruct, though.

I didn’t realize it was a shiny until I put it back into the wonder trade system and was traded another cutie fly, and saw the difference once they were side by side. DaSheepKiller I see your point, but at the same time, spending hours fishing for Feebas is a tradition as old as Feebas itself. Meanwhile, Zygarde was just a regular legendary encounter in XY and now you need to literally search every nook and cranny of Alola to piece it together. Even if you look up the locations, if you don't remember which Zygarde cells and cores you already have then you have to check every cell/core location until you have them all, meaning you have to revisit the locations of the ones you might already have anyway all over again just to find those remaining few. I mean yeah, it's worth it for Complete Zygarde but that doesn't make it any less hard to obtain.

I'd say that Dhelmise and Dratini should be on this list. Only available in one location, 1% encounter rate, only catchable by fishing. There's also Gabite which is only encountered by SOS Battle with Trapinch which itself can only be encountered in sand clouds in Haina Desert at a 10% rate of encounter. Also knowing that Trapinch can only be in the sand clouds isn't something that I was pivy on until after I spent hours running around the desert trying to get one through normal encounter instead of using a repel and running into the sandclouds.

the hardest pokemon to get is Weavile because you need to beat most of the game to get a Sneasel (Weavile's Pre-Evolved form) and has a 20% encounter rate not bad but you need a razor claw to evolve it so you have to catch a Jangomo which is located in one spot in the game with a 5% encounter rate and the chances of it holding a razor claw is 5% so it's practically impossible to get a Weavile

Goodra/Vanilluxe can be slightly easier because it's always raining in route 17 and it's mostly hailing in Mount Lanakila. I thought at the beginning is that you can only get them at Tapu Village, but not really, everywhere the weather is constant, you can actually find them.

I have some advice for getting perfect zygarde AND you only need 50% zygarde(note:you will need a Pokémon X or Y game and Pokémon bank and a zygarde from that game) once you have done all that,go to route 16 lab and separate one of your zygardes then assemble it back in to the other zygarde. and their ya have it a perfect zygarde! Enjoy it!(you can also separate both zygardes then assemble them into the perfect form)

Also to Mermaid boy: getting a Weavile is hard but you don't actually have to catch the Pokemon holding the claw item you need, just teach one of your own Pokemon the move "Thief" (which is a dark type move by the way), and than go to where the Pokemon that holds the claw item is, encounter it and keep using Thief on all the wild ones you meet untill you get the claw. (Just remember Thief only works if your Pokemon ISN'T holding anything). But that's me, what will you do?
