ActiveBacklash is definitely the MVP. His large push killed two coms, drove another to ctrl-k and destroyed four bases, and he also killed another com on top of that

Coms vs T3 ground units. Players not building SAMs also mattered at the end in this game. And other games where people skip nuke defense. Seems to be the big 3 of easy items that most players skip and die to.

absolutely. i agree. but lets be real. the amount of turtlage from causeway can make battles kind of epic. but seeing these kursk style tank rushes get me going too. just variety in the diet. Gyle, your the shit man.

This one reminded me a lot of an old Gyle where an Aeon (I think) player got his UEF (again, it was a while ago) down to 0 mexes, but still lost because the Aeon raiding just left enough reclaim for the UEF player.

I'd except that 'BoeHonacHocT' (it would be "военна опасност" in my language) ~ "war/military danger" in a Slavic language in Cyrillic written with Latin characters.

Willow is such a coin flip. He’ll do some crazy play that either wrecks them or ruins him.

In this game he played steadily but failed in not building a T4 to defend his base and com. Most of his games are unremarkable. It's just that he plays a lot so that Gyle tends to feature highlight games, and Willow is good at playing the endgame and coming up with attempts to clutch victory from the jaws of defeat.

@@ChasseurTueur Willowisppsi always plays for the team and always plays in ways to maximise his teams chances of winning - to the best of his abilities. You can always search for replays featuring him within FAF and watch a selection of his mundane battles. The ones that aren't interesting enough to be worthy of casting.

What a great game! I always feel like ground attack never wins games in Supcom, but here it did. Maybe that's just because everybody turtles so hard in the EPIC games and then they are decided by base to base artillery and late game assassinations. Such a great push by ActiveBacklash

Ground doesnt often win 1 hour long games which is what gets casted is why.

The team that lost lost cos seemingly no one on that team properly took over the air role. There was never a huge air clash that they lost that handed air control over to the other team, cos they never had a huge air force to begin with. The smattering of planes they did have were taken out and that was largely it. The attack that drove through multiple of their bases, and commanders, wasn't especially large. Even if their forces were mostly up front, this is where an air force can swoop in to save you. They had a massive eco advantage.

If you're on the FAF client for Forged Alliance, there's a tab called 'Maps'. From there you can either browse or input the name of a map you have seen and download it.

The map looks cool. I was wondering if anyone could explain to me what 'Adaptive' means in the title? Lots of maps are named like that, does it refer to the distribution of mex's or something?

Those are maps that can have additional starting locations based on the number of players as well as other configurable things. Unused starting points won't have any mexes or hydros. But you can also have many other options that can be configured when setting up a game. So instead of having tons of maps with slight variations of a base map you just need one. It's very neat and one of the many many additions the community made to the game.

That was a bit of a fiasco all around. I don't think the players are used to maps that weird. Normally mountains make defense easier, but in this case it got in the way of supporting and retreating without making defense easier.

Gonna disagree with you on the hair. I don't want a bald woman. I don't want her to be chewbacca either, but yeah. SOME hairy situations are preferable to non-hairy.
