This lady from my personal experience deserves the position. She delivered a Stella judgment in 2014.which the appellant lost it the SCA in 2021

An interview by its nature is nerve racking. Her being nervous in an interview cannot possibly be a reason for one to question her intellectual capacities in her line of work.

The point is that Judicial Officers are public servants who carry immense power over people's lives, and their fit and proper position should not be in question, their appointment clears any questions why they were appointed in the first place if their interview is publicised. With that said, I personally know Judge Mjali and her stellar work, I appeared before her this week in Ntabankulu Local Division, she allowed the Accused to self-represent after extensively advising the Accused against appearing in person. Her judicial patience and judicial knowledge of the Law seemed outstanding to me. This interview in my view is not the true reflection of her judicial prowess 🤞🏽 She deserves to be appointed to the SCA.

@@Sphamandla-q4s don't politicians offer the same public service u just mentioned above? I thought politicians carried out the same mandate to peoples lives an that their fit and proper positions should also not be questioned so how's that any different?

@@SibusisoMvumvu it's different in the way that Politicians are voted into power while Judicial Officers, are appointed based on their actual qualifications. So the answer is No, Politicians do not offer the same service to the public as Judicial officers do.
