One thing I have always wanted to see which has not happened is the ability to build bases in Allied countries. Not only that there should be some sort of agreement where a country with cash lets say the US could be able to build a consumer, industrial, military goods or other production facilities such as oil exploration in another country that lacks cash to build those for instance Yemen, Syria etc. Also, oil and gas explorations should be separated.

The ability to be able to build thoae facilities in another country would help a poor country develop when itndoesnt have the resourcues to do on its own. The facilities could be mutually owned with a respective percentage. This could introduce the concept of foreign investment in the game.

@@aqkhan6779 yeah that would be something nice to simulate real world USA bases around world.

Can you trade colonies in war peace deals?
@KonglomeratYT Жыл бұрын
I think you can add whatever you want to a peace deal, but it might take a player to work that out. The AI controls are more designed around battlezones and loyalty borders. Though AI will trade colonies whenever, even outside of asking for peace.

One major mistake I have observed playing SRU Trump Rising's WW2 campaigns is the fact that demand and supply rule somehow doesnt exist. For instance, by 1941-1942 right after Japan declares war on the US, the world experience extreme shortages of oil, resulting in halt to the production of industrial and consequently mitary and consumer goods. That should drive the prices sky rocketing which doesnt happen. Oil remains at $11 a barrel, consumer, industrial.and military less than $5k. Contrary, if you play the CW campaign, shortages of military goods during wars would shoot the prices as high as $25k. Im writing this because I know Chris and others listen to your feedback, so please let them know.

So what you're seeing there sounds like the scenario differences. The reason the prices are so different across scenarios is because there is a base inflation rate and prices scale with that over time. It was balanced completely differently per scenario in SRU. 2030 Shouldn't have anything that noticeable, since there will only be 2 start dates (that I know of): 2030 and 2023. So the numbers should behave similarly.

Hey, so if in a nosrmal sandbox i defeat and conquer entire Russia (as Poland), I cannot relese muscovy because i didnt play shattered world? ffs that is sad :/ I dont want to keep all of lands of russia, but i also dont want to give up kaliningrad either (and i would love to keep smolensk too :/ ) so this is like, extending what was, rather than actually creating a new feature. I wonder, will there be a Universal Ruler that will introduce just slightly new feature begged for since sr2020, only to be slightly improved in sr2040? 😢 kewl, so neither i can break down into separate colonies, nor combine them 😢 this is trully half arsed, and not worth buying if one does have sru/sr2020 already 😅 But anyway, thanks Konglomerat, for making those videos, you give insight that can help decide. I wouldn't have seen such vids from any game dev since times immemorial 😅❤ ps: i just discovered i can give up battlezones in sru... which is silly, but that could work... if only i would release a colony rather than independent country 😅 could you perhaps show how does it work in sr30? 😊
@KonglomeratYT Жыл бұрын
I believe that player-made formation of colonies in SR is 100% dependent on what loyalties are present on the map in a given scenario. In 2030 they could be expanded theoretically via conquest, or battlezone trading. But initial formation I believe *must* relate to the pre-programmed loyalties unless it is event-related.
