If you're referring to miss Ross you'd better be a white man and in possession of a fairly strong stomach for a startling revelation when the make up gets scraped off at night. Prepare yourself for the unveiling. Cause at the stroke of midnight, your fairy tale bliss becomes the nightmare on Elm street when your precious Princess Diana turns into a wildebeest-looking, bug eyed ufo. Or the creature from the black lagoon. Didn't you hear all about her husband's death? Apparently he jumped off a mountaintop to escape the nightmares. It seems that after over a decade of married bliss, one night at bedtime, Ms Ross decided to finally come clean and present to him the ugly truth of the thing that lurked in plain sight. Be careful what you wish for. You might get eaten alive, but not in the way you had planned it with all the candles and wine and roses and such. You'll quickly drop the champagne bottle to the floor and do a mad sprint throughout the house in search of some fresh garlic, mirrors, spotlights and a wooden stake

@@bluezodiac6329 Yes that's true. Even with the original trio, the Andantes were brought in to fatten up the sound. In fact, the I. @Spanky Applegate oh yes there's something very cheap about this sell out pop tart when you use it for more than just a hat rack and reach the obvious conclusion of where all that money is headed: after crossing over racial barriers with the Supremes during the racially embroiled 60s, Dirty Dumb Diana has decided to cross back over and hand the bulk of her fortune over to a future all white family (cont'd)
@punkanellylovejoy7024 жыл бұрын
@Spanky Applegate cause with the exception of Rhonda, her kids only date and marry whites So in the next generation or so, Ms Ross will have fulfilled her "legacy". I'm sure she's a treasure to some blacks such as yourself....but she's soon to be a treasure CHEST to whites. So glad you brought that up about Diana's Black wealth...correctly called: Diana's white wealth.
@punkanellylovejoy7024 жыл бұрын
I stand to be corrected as I was absolutely wrong. I mean who am I to make note of the irony in crossing over color barriers with the Supremes in the turbulently racially divided 60s, that Ross and her kids apparently are so blinded by whiteness that they can't see the beauty of the blackness surrounding them. I mean I really had no right to assume that only azz-kizzing fans would have the ignorance to categorize Ms Ross as a role model to blacks, when it's more than obvious that the bulk of that fortune will soon be inherited into the hands of an ALL WHITE FAMILY. You're absolutely right, people have the right to marry whomever they want. I have absolutely zero basis for accusing these black rich and famous people of being cursed or brainwashed with this one particular part of our inherited slave mentality that afflicts many black people to this very day. No I shouldn't have said those horrible things about Ms Ross. And besides, I should just get a life and not be so concerned about all the wonderful "generational" wealth that some lucky all-white family will be soon enjoying, while they drive around in their Rolly poly Royces and other vehicles without EVER having a single thought of being pulled over by a racist cop (since they'll be white themselves). I really am silly to try and make issue of the fact that a non-black family will be enjoying Ross's black wealth, without ever having a single personal experience of what it can very often be like to live as a black person in a white dominated world. And besides, whats wrong with that anyway? Ms Ross and her kids should feel free to marry any white person on this entire planet if they want too. That's absolutely none of my business. They want to feel superior too. What's wrong with that. And how ABSOLUTELY STUPID for me to actually think that a lot of black men only date or only marry whites because they see white women as a status symbol: as something "better" than a black woman. It's just foolishness on my part. But I'm so glad you kinda brought me back to reality. I should just shut up and let Uncle Toms be Uncle Toms (and I need to stop calling them that, because they're not). Just let them live their lives peacefully BEING Uncle Toms (oops there I go again) and without the headache of having to be labelled as such. So it's really just time for me to just get a life and stop being so ridiculous (and probably jealous on the cool) in saying such untrue things about this WONDERFUL and FABULOUSLY wealthy "Black" American family. I'm ashamed of myself, I really am. I suddenly feel like a disgrace to the black race as well as to myself. Ms Diana Ross. She's truly a treasure....in more ways than one.

Sorry Mary, I think Diana wouldv'e respected you more, if you wasn't so wishy washy! Did you put any of this explaining into the book as well!? Diana ,never spoke to Mary again!

I'm sorry I really can't listen to this. Putting all the blame on others. History proved that it was Diana always working harder. Mrs, Powell stated it and so did Cholly Atkins. Mary needed a vacation? Well more than likely so did Diana. But Mary didn't mind about a new record and left.

The story was told as it is. You extracted the blame from your head.

Diana had to work harder because she was given all the leads. And very often she had to be constantly coached in the studio on how to sing the songs; songs that were already tailored to fit around her limited vocal ability.

Sometimes you got to take a moment to gather yourself or you'll collapse. A good leader allows its team to rejuvenate so they can be best at their work. Especially after a lot of turmoil. She sad she had been speaking weeks training Cindy etc.

Some of what Mary says doesn’t have a ring of truth to it 🙄🙄🙄🙄
