It's a shame that Master Hand and Crazy Hand aren't ominous anymore. The last time they were imposing was in Brawl. Smash 4 made them almost... comical, and then Ultimate just ruined it. At least some of their new attacks are cool.

Idk how to feel about this take, is it because of their introductions or what? Nothing about the modern fights themselves screams comical to me. They have been existing since the franchise's beginning, sooner or later they wouldn't have had the same effect they used to have due to the sense of familiarity. In any case, I would still argue at least Master Hand stills feel imposing enough due to the fact you get to use him in WoL against multiple opponents, showing how powerful he is in a different way.

As a kid I only came across Crazy Hand once, I loved melee sm and would play a lot. I was so shocked when he arrived, and my brother didn’t believe me when I told him about it. For a while I started to think he never existed and that I imagined it, nice to see it’s real :)

I kinda wished that Melee was released as a remaster for Wii U, with different character looks, more believable sound effects and voices for almost all characters, but still retain the same game play and add an intense difficulty like in Brawl, but no, they won't even release it on Virtual Console along with countless other Gamecube games

Crazy Hand was actually a mistake. During the development of the game, Master Hand was created as a “final boss”. During the testing phases of the game, Master Hand did not look or perform exactly how the developers wanted him to. Thus, Crazy Hand was born!

Man, i remember when i first fought Crazy Hand, i was playing marth and i was down to two stocks. I took master hand down to 119, and flipped out when Crazy hand appeared and started kicking my butt, i was able to take him down but not after a long battle. I nearly lost cause of the time limit.
