Sur Ron Free Ride by Richard Kent EV Moto Australia

Trials rider, Richard Kent adapts his Trial technique to the amazing Sur Ron Light Bee, showing some of the capabilities of the machine. Video shot and edited by Jacob Roman on an IPhone 6. The bike in this video has only 2 x changes from stock trim- Sur Ron optional 58T rear sprocket and Jitsie aluminium Trial handlebars. Tire pressures set at 15 psi front and rear, suspension front and rear has had minor tweaks from stock settings. Most impressive feature of the bike is the coaxial output sprocket on the swingarm pivot, allowing suspension to work without torque reaction from chain. You got skills! The x controller will be a more linear throttle with higher torque and easier for trials. I like the 60 tooth with the X controller for this riding style. Leave the front brake cutoff hooked up and it acts like a clutch if you hold the brake and twist the throttle then let off the brake it is like a rocket launcher!! I leave rear brake cutoff unhooked so I can control wheeling and uphill starts.

I believe it to be better to disconnect both brake cut out sensors. The stock bike is great, they are so well-priced it is no surprise that some owners go troppo with upgrades.

The blue knob on fork is backed right off, The rear spring is stock setting, the red knob on the shock is 4 x clicks to the -ve for quicker rebound/ response. Blue knob on shock is at stock setting.

Bike is small. For short people. Up to 175cm. Maybe 180cm but on small size.

I don't know about boring....I love my 2013 Yamaha 450 for desert riding, but I agree, they are noisy and polluting the air. Can't wait to buy this to add to my ebike collection! Nice riding, btw.
