Surah Kafirun
Long long ago the people of Makkah did not believe in Allah (swt). They used different kind of Idols for worship as their gods. During that time, they had 360 idols inside the house of the Kaba. Since there were many people of that time were disbelievers and did idol worshipping, Allah (swt) chose Muhammad (swt) as a prophet to guide the whole world. His message to everyone was very simple. Worshipping any kind of idol or person is not allowed. There is only one God and that is Allah (swt) who is the creator of everything. In Makkah that idea that he presented was very new to everyone. They tried to destroy the religion of Islam. To prevent others to become Muslims, they even killed many people who accepted Islam. That's why when Islam was first introduced, it was a very bad time for the Muslims. But even during the hard times, Islam was growing bigger and bigger day by day. When leaders of Makkah could not stop Islam from spreading, they made an offer to Muhammad (s) in hopes of stopping Islam. They said, they would give Muhammad (s) lots of money and he would become the richest person in Makkah. They even said, he could married the most beautiful woman in Makkah. But Muhammad (s) rejected their offer. Finally they offered him a deal, and the deal was that they will accept Allah (swt) as their God for just one year, and the next year Muhammad (s) would have to accept their idols as his god for one year. Then Allah (swt) sent surah Al-Kafirun to Muhammad (s) as a answer of their offer. After this surah was sent to Muhammad (s), he used this surah at Fajar Sunnah prayer and Maghrib Sunnah prayer. Even before his sleep he used to recite surah Kafirun. One day a very poisonous scorpion bit Muhammad (s), so he used salt water on that place and recited surah kafirun, Falaq and Nas and he was healed.

3. Muhammad (s) used surah Kafirun and Surah Ikhlas for Fajar and Maghrib Sunnah prayer.
4. He advised his sahabbahs to use this surah before going to sleep.
