if you can prove to your teacher that you can do higher I am pretty sure they will let you do higher but as you said your not in mainstream so you do have to do a lot of self-teach. Looking at the comment it was made a year ago so I assume you did your GCSEs were you able to do a Higher papers?

If nobody noticed, rather then listing out the square numbers you can just divide, for example the first one is 18 divided by 2 which is 9 the second example was 80 divided by 5 which is 16, etc 🥰

For the 6:00 question I expanded 3/20 into /9 x /20 = /180 and then simplified that as first /36 x /5 and then 6/5. Is that an acceptable method? Thank you for your great videos they're saving my gcse! ps: just realised that gets complicated with 8x/8 😂

On the second question for us to try, why cant you square root 4 down to two? I got 2✔️2 instead of 4✔️2
