I've been on these for about 2 months. I had century NTS with loose ball set up before these. Stacy boot that is a rubber leather hybrid with a wooden/rubber heel. Pros: the full plate does not flex at all, more rigid than the NTS. More control due to lower center of gravity. Overall design quality is decent, Cons: no instructions for mounting (as mentioned). The design is great for what it's meant to achieve, however, the trucks only allow for a certain amount of loosening to achieve cushion flex. Only come in 8mm axles, so no solution for loose ball to date. The edges of the anodize on the truck stays is thicker, a bevel would have prevented this IMO. As you go to change out the truck, you can actually scratch the anodize on the surface of the plate you can see... I recommend them, however, I'd like to see a few design improvements for my personal taste. These are probably second-tier plates for someone that already knows how to slide on a more traditional plate.
