Great stuff! I’d add a tuck of the chin to the block to further diminish the probability of a knockout or getting wobbled should he connect with your face.

Hey guys! Question here: what should i choose: train bjj 3 times per week and 2 times go to the gym for the strenght or train 3 times per week bjj and 2 times karate for some stand up game?
@xy58445 жыл бұрын
Some trainners prefer to use peridiozation, splitting months to focis on strength with less bjj classes and months with focus on bjjj with a smaller volume of strength trainning. I think it also depends on how young are you and and how much you sleep to help with recovery

Yeah...maybe you could teach Royce something from your armchair...not. There's always one of you in every bunch.

Always liked Royce as fighter. Only recently saw him vs. Shamrock 2 for first time and he should have lost that fight, but showed the conflict of interest between Gracies and UFC which was interesting.

Awesome stuff from the legend himself. And don’t worry guys, bad guys are not going to be searching KZbin looking for something like this, I assure you. Sadly for the most part they don’t need it or need to.....

Gracie's need to promote a a technique I once learned . The principle is left hand grabs right wrist , then with the left hand it pushes towards the right shoulder closing the arm tightly around the neck . Then the of course with feet hook applied, then dropping the opponent to the ground turning opponent over on stomach , flattening them out . It is very effective and I've never seen Royce use it . Like a rear naked choke only he grabs a wrist closing one arm completely so there is no space in the choke . Tchau

If all Officers could learn, and then keep reinforcing, just these techniques in this 7:38 lesson ... they would be WELL ahead of about 75% of ALL Officers in the United States. These basics MUST be taught to Cops!
