My brother was trained by you as an airborne ranger after winning a round robin against a bunch of other high tier military groups. He was 6'1 and 230 pounds. He is a tough ass dude and you stomped him... My brother taught me a few things and he didn't try to kill me. Just get a lock and let go without torqueing me out. Bless you and your family I used to know a young lady named Mrs. Daey who's father you used to train. He seemed like a good dude.

Helio didn't add leverage to kano Jiujitsu/judo. It existed long before. Helio and Carlos, along with another brother, took a metal pipe and mob attacked a catch wrestler named Rufino Dos Santos. They crippled Rufino because he defeated Carlos in a grappling bout, making Gracie Jiujitsu/Gracie Judo Newaza look inferior to catch wrestling thus jeapardizing the Gracie family's livehood. Then during UFC 1 and UFC 2 the Gracies denied allowing any Catch Wrestlers to compete because the UFC was meant as advertisement for their family school and they couldnt allow Catch Wrestlers (Gracie Jiujitsu's Kryptonite) to ruin their business advertisement to make Gracie Jiujitsu world famous.

Yeah the UFC was a commercial for their "Gracie Jiu-jitsu". The fights were fixed to allow Royce to win. It was all about making Gracie Jiu-jitsu look good and look superior
@rnkmode18762 жыл бұрын
@@MH-zg5yw BS. Obviously BJJ is still effective, being as every MMA fighter still trains in it. The fights weren't fixed. It was just that hardly nobody was prepared to deal with Jiu-jitsu submissions. Period. It was all new to Norrh America back then.

Still spouting the same lies helio told him.Its plainly obvious that helio did not learn by watching,wasnt small or weak in the least and learned only judo from his older brothers who had a basic instruction from maeda and his senior students.

Don't believe all you hear, research. catch wrestling beat them and the first UFC made sure he fought certain fighters.
@rnkmode18762 жыл бұрын
BS. Gokor Chivichian was invited to compete in UFC by Art Davie and for whatever reason he declined. It's all individual, Ken Shamrock has Catch Wrestling in his arsenal. Royce beat him 2 out of 3 times.

@@rnkmode1876 What Japanese catch wrestler beat and broke many Gracie's?
@rnkmode18762 жыл бұрын
@@grayrecluse7496 Saku, like I said it's individual and he also lost a couple times to Gracies as well. Royce fought him for over an hour and a half. Either way that's crazy to fight that long.
@SoldierDrew2 жыл бұрын
@@rnkmode1876 Ken Shamrock wasn't a catch wrestler during UFC 1 or UFC 2. He was a shooto fighter which is kickboxing with wrestling. The only submissions Ken knew were straight leg locks and bulldog head locks at that time. He was NOT a Catch Wrestler. I watched the first five UFCs the years they fought, spoke with Bill Superfoot Wallace who was referee in the first UFC and listened to a catch wrestler who was a student of the Gracies at the time claim the Gracies refused to let him compete in the original Ultimate Fight Challenge.
