Great video! My grandpa put his hand down on a ghost crab thinking it was like a crawdad from Missouri........he was not happy when he realized that they pinch a "little" bit harder! :P Great tip about the bait thread helping to hold them on the hook!

I would love to see water like that. The "tide" on the Coosa River in Wetumpka has been running over 15 ft. higher than I would like. I am afraid the striper run will be a big bust this year.

use a j hook and you wont need thread or anything to hold it on there man push in way deeper when you pump them will get way more

Cold Fronts! They do the same thing to fish wherever I have been. Puts them in a negative mood and makes you wonder if you know anything about fishing. Keep up the videos - hope the fishing picks up for you.

Nice, braking the ice front. 🦐🦐 Up here on Lay it’s so dang muddy that you would have to hit the fish on the head with some stinking bait to catch anything. Oh, if you get over to mobile, I lost my hat yesterday and with the floods of water going down look for my hat 🧢. 9 flood gates still open with 6 turbines open. At 11pm it’s 31 in Clanton but 34 here on the lake. Thank goodness for warm water. 😂. And your right about the devastation in Lee county. Prayers out to all that had been impacted and lives changed.

Well said Bama! Albany GA where I'm from can't catch a break from the weather lately. You ever used Fin Nor reels? Like the lethal series? I have mostly Penn and Daiwa but 2 of my favorite spinning reels are the Fin Nor Lethal and the Quantum Cabo 40. Anyway awesome video!

Ok. Change that. I just came in from the porch and it doesn’t sound like Niagara Falls anymore. They must have closed some, if not all the flood gates. Can’t see from the porch if the water is up any, but they must be better maintaining. App says we’re down 6” (normal) and 6 turbines running until further notice. I hope your water clears up in the bays some now in the next few days.

Hi Bama nice video I'm in the UK we use bait elastic for all soft baits here we have several types of bating needles for soft bait have a look on KZbin they are fantastic for presenting soft crab shrimp worm even fish and keeps all basis on the hook longer

I've been told recently that if you're fishing for sheepies with the ghost shrimp, and the pinfish are eating them, to only hook the claws on the hook.
