Makes sense on that sp min or any similar surface plug or below got to make it look natural w the whole shake and bake moves fish don't just swim super fast they creep and only speed off after food or defense

FlyingSquid IDK whether you found out or not,but 'fire in the water'means the water is full of microscopic animals that emit light when disturbed,very pretty and spooky as well.You can see their light when surf breaks on shore on any given summer night.Surf fishermen hate it with a passion your line looks like a thick,fluorescent rope,your plug looks monstrous and unnatural shooting off weird purple green sparks on every retrieve.Bass in the water look ghostly and enormous if they hang around at all . Fishing is poor to say the least.Fire as it's called can ruin fishing for nights on end.Full moon can negate the effect somewhat,but in striper fishing,less light the better.Best to soak a bait and sit when fire is present.
