I head to my home town where I grew up, Noosa Heads, and shoot a sunset session at Little cove. Super chilled and great vibe at this place. I used my 24-105mm lens for the after sunset shoot.

what are good settings to use in the morning when shooting surf photography?

yeah tricky question, look up bracketing, you can take 3 images at different exposures and combine them.
