@artbytesia kind of weird you would call frozen a piece of trash considering it is one of the highest grossing films and literally made 800% profit back on its expenses. Not to mention they accomplished this without a secure fan base like you would have with the star wars community. Frozen is the literal definition of a roaring success and don't lose sight that it's a kids movie and not an adult movie. Different target audience meaning different standards meaning different way everything is presented than you would see in a film targeted at an older audience.

Because it's for kids, the people behind it didn't think they needed to put effort into the storytelling or make sure it made sense in the end. The way I see it, it's BECAUSE Frozen is for kids that more care should have been put into it, BECAUSE kids don't know any better. They need good stories, not ones filled to the brim with so many plot holes it'd make a moth-eaten T-shirt blush. You know what else is for kids? This movie here, Surf's Up. And guess what? It's a good movie, because it has time and effort put into every inch of it, and for the most part it doesn't treat kids like they're braindead idiots. Whenever somebody tries to say "It's for kids" as an excuse to defend garbage, they're basically saying that people like me are wrong for wanting them to be good. That kind of reasoning is exactly why we have garbage like the 2022 Marmaduke movie, Re-Animated, the sequels to Alpha and Omega and The Swan Princess, Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Legend of the Titanic, and even shows like Teen Titans Go! and Kamp Koral, because the people behind those had the exact same mentality. "Oh, this is for kids, and kids don't care about the writing, so it doesn't matter how we write it!" I'm sorry, but that just won't fly with people like me. And at least a part of you, in my opinion, should be ashamed of yourself.
