@@SnowHoof000 The first thing Luisa had going against her entire family were blessed with miraculous powers they received when Abuelo sacrificed himself to save them but these powers came with a responsibility to protect the village. They were given the powers to live the same way he died, protecting everyone else. So of course her super strength was going to be in high demand for a rural village with no electrical/mechanical construction or farming equipment. Which at first wasn’t much of a problem for a girl that can carry around 7 donkeys like an armful of laundry and pick up and relocate a stone bridge as if it were a lawn chair. With her kind of abilities it’s easy to fall under the delusion that someone’s indestructible when in reality they’re one crack away from falling completely apart. Which leads to the next problem, her “mask”. Her responsibilities are startling to get to her and she’s becoming overwhelmed but she doesn’t want to admit she’s overwhelmed because in her mind that would be letting her family down so she puts on this fake smile to convince everyone around her that everything is fine, and because the entire family have their own powers with their own and/or responsibilities they don’t notice the “mask” isn’t real. Mirabel was the only one that didn’t have powers so they didn’t give her any special responsibilities freeing her up to take a closer look at Luisa and see she was hiding something, “under the surface”. Even in real families with normal expectations their can be one member usually a parent but sometimes a child that takes on more then they can handle to try and “help the family” but won’t admit it because they don’t want to “let everyone down” and their family members can’t see through their fake smiles more often then not because they’re struggling to live up to their responsibilities as well. It’s not necessarily an indication that they’re a bad family, just a human family made up of imperfect human beings.

i actually reached a point like this with my friend group I always found myself trapped in the middle of Drama, unable to escape it and just 'ignore' it like some friends do ,i was always in the middle, picking sides, trying to make people stay friends, etc. and i didnt "pop" per say, but i finally did have to just tell my friends to stop relying on me so much because it was degrading my mental health

I think it’s be really cool if Disney made a A Twisted Tale book about Encanto where either Mirabel doesn’t exist, or finally breaks and decides to burn it all down by talking everyone in the family into giving up on trying to hold it all together. It could basically just be the same sequence of events as the movie, except dark. Everything would be just like the movie, until Mirabel learns how Bruno was treated, and then she realizes the family isn’t worth all the care and love she put into it and decides to let Casita crumble and actively tries to stop anyone that helps. Only problem I see is how to get Mirabel to stop caring about Casita, given it was the only part of the family that was always kind to her

She could always plot revenge with Bruno to take over the Casita for herself while turning parts of it into a horror show for the rest of the family- turn their ‘refuges’ (rooms) into their own personal prisons where they are forced to confront who they really are.

Honestly... This is amazing and well Mirabell and Bruno can't be the ones can have a chance of being a villian... Honestly anyone in the family could have... Isabella could... Dolorlas could... Even pepa but Lusia most definitely... Honestly I'm alot like her and even in this villian song... I love my kids I adopted but they killed me and I did get like this so yeah we all crack on pressure and sometimes beyond the pressure we can handle.
