Nice fly Jarrod. I like the way you tied in the legs rather than poking them through the head.

Great looking popper, my dad taught me to poppers when I was early teen. Now I’m 70 and still use them

One of the coolest looking poppers I’ve seen. Great job!!! Btw, Black Forest ham w/smoked Gouda cheese, mayo, lettuce and tomato. You gotta try it.

This looks like a great pattern for fresh and brackish canals in Florida. Definitely a winner. My favorite lunch meat is Russer Wunderbar german bologna, Yup i am a simple guy. Maybe your next fly could be one of Jack Gartsides patterns using a hollow tube body. Like ez body

Bet that popper would work on my local pickerel ponds, and hands down lebanon bologna is the best lunch meat.

A suggestion from a fellow tier, binder clips are good for holdin back your materials. Go for an oversized clip so as not to pinch your materials.

I used these double barrel seducer popper I used to catch Bass in a pond in central Florida , and I caught a Tilapia on it ! I wonder if you could use these poppers in saltwater ? My favorite sandwich is Arby,s Chicken sliders sandwiches !

Does that Loon hold up to the squish test? I've seen it peel off after a fish or two with other resins.

Looking at tieing some poppers and was wondering about: why paint the top? Aren't the fish just looking at the bottom? Thanks

That is a great looking fly. Question. What type of hackle are you using

Hi Evan! Glad you enjoyed the video. I'm attaching a link to the blog that gives a complete list of the materials needed, below. www.tridentflyfishing.com/blog/how-to-tie-a-surface-seducer-double-barrel-popper-fly/

UV Cure nail polish is easier than super glue for me. Also super glue gets all white and hazy on me sometimes depending on the material I use. UV cure nail polish is way cheaper than the UV cure fly cements and is essentially the same thing

Bummer, can't see what you are doing with your marker because your hand is between the camera and the colors you are applying. After you finished we could see the result but not how you were doing it as you were doing it.
