"Its about opening up a history book" some of the wisest words I have heard in a long time. Shapers like Skip come along only a few times in a lifetime. Keep surfing ~

Hi Dane, Tiki Surfboards are still made in Braunton, North Devon the guy who shaped this board was Tim Hayland , Haven't seen him in years but last I heard a few years ago he still rips;)

Dude this is insane!! this is literally my surf philosophy, I started on a very heavily glassed Becker LC-3 that has insane amounts of drag. I played with it forever, especially with fins, increasing and reducing drag. Honestly just like Dane said, it’s really opened my mind to trying new things with speed with all my short boards. Lately I’m riding a very weird 5 fin setup on an epoxy 5’9 1/2 80/20 step deck 183/4 wide 2 1/2 thick I guess more like 21/4 on the rail and 25/8 on the actual deck has very small leading side fins mini bonzer fins in the quad box and a little mr trailer fin in the center which is actually the largest fin thing is so interesting lots of drive and responsive! So fun to experiment and see how boards fins and waves work and sort of why! Love this!

That's right Dane. Study. Keep studying. Going slow for awhile calibrates the perceptions of time and space. Possibilities abound.

so i recently bought a used board that was originally found on the SB headquarters team rack. It's a 5'9'' X 18 3/4" X 2 5/8" round tail, channel bottom MBM. it just says for Dane.... guy who sold it says Reynolds, but after seeing his second rocket, I'm leaning toward this dane.
