I challenge anyone, with even the slightest knowledge of RC Slope Soaring, to watch this and not smile! And we all need something to smile about right now! Fantastic! Thank you John and Caroline.

The pirouettes we're almost piviots! Lolol I don't believe I have ever witnessed a plane do them so tight! John, you were enjoying that very, very much! I did as well! Thank you for sharing! I hope the onboard video happens more often, it was quite a unique viewpoint!

What a Champ! I'm very happy to see the Bee back in action. It's unique flight characteristics really let it shine on the slopes. You seem to have a load of fun exploiting those abilities. The air to air images were fun to watch as well. Another spectacular video sir. Thank you for sharing your adventure.

The most technically interesting video yet! Maximum(?) elevator and rudder deflection at the same time just produces a very tight turn - not a death spiral. Rewrites the rules of glider design? Fearless flying too. Cheered me up - the day after a massive British Gas price rise. Maybe life is worth living.

Beautiful plane, and flying. But what really caught my eye is that wall... I wonder how many curse words were used per feet on the steep part when they built it.
@longjammeriii33232 жыл бұрын
Hi John and Mrs W, that was some of the most awesome footage I've seen in a very long time!! The most thrilling for me was when you were apparently chasing the shadow of the Lazy Bee along the grass topped Cliff and edges, then just turning away into a loop or a very tight turn without even dropping a wing 👏👏 what a fantastic video which had me smiling all the way through, Thank you both so much for brightening the winter up for me, and everyone of course, the amount of rudder movement is amazing as well. Thanks again from a very grateful Alan in Sheffield, stay safe and well, regards Alan 😊😊😊😊😊😊❤

Never has a design been more appropriately named “Lazy Bee.” I have an unexplainable fondness for this living and flying cartoon. I first fell for odd & silly craft as a gas-powered model that morphed to electric-powered, but leave it to you, John, to turn our ‘Silly Bee” into an (almost) graceful floating damsel in the air. She performs unbelievable turns and loops practically within her own length with hidden energy!! She Is the Margaret Rutherford of model gliders, I dub thee, Dane Lazy Bee! Thank you, again You manage to keep me smiling; no small task these days. John Woodfield and Company

@bob21612 жыл бұрын
@@teretz571I'm pretty certain that wcolby was making a joke. Insinuating that the plane's maneuverability could stand to be improved. When it can already, very clearly, outmaneuver everything else on the hill. Years ago I heard somebody explain that Mr. Clancy designed the Lazy Bee with such a short fuselage out of necessity. It was the only way he could keep it from flying into it's own tail.

Thank you. I was using an old GoPro 4 which has image stabilisation. Unfortunately it won’t record in 4k with the stabilisation turned on. The newer models have even better stabilisation and will also record in 4k or with higher frame rates.
