I tried surfing for the very first time here a couple weeks ago around the time you released this video. Watched a few videos of this place before going, just made sure I stayed out of everyone’s way.. I didn’t take any lessons , just watch & learn. Managed to paddle out , go over or under incoming waves. Wiped out near the shore a couple times tho. But once I was all the way out was just relaxing with the group. I believe I was in a good position to stand up on the board, but my technique is not good plus I have a bad knee.. it was thrilling anyway, really fell in love with surfing. Hopefully can catch a wave next time
