What's up NUB NATION!! Today we went surfing at "The Point" with local Outer Banks surf Brett Barley. The point is Brett's local novelty wave & it does not dissapPOINT (get it?). One year a while back during the easterns there were two hurricanes offshore and my friends and I surfed the point at a couple feet over head with the best surfers on the coast while the contest was on a hold because the surf on the north side was out of control. Stay stoked .

Cape Point - one of my favorite places on earth. Another couple weeks and that spot would have been PACKED with fishermen. Oh yeah - and he ain’t lying about sharks. BIG sharks feet from the beach down there.

Sand eaters. Deep water shore break. You get a short ride and maybe an off the top before the wave slams the beach. Yewww. We get waves like that a lot here. Too often unfortunately when the waves are too small to break on the 1st sand bar.
