Surfing with Friends at Typhoon Lagoon 2024

It's been awhile since I've taken part in a Disney's Typhoon Lagoon surf session so when my long time friend Mike said he had reserved the park and I was welcome to come along I jumped at the chance because it's always a good time. Best of all there would be a few other friends there that I hadn't seen in a long time so it was a great opportunity to catch up. I wasn't in a position to surf this time so I took video instead. I didn't go all out on the coverage mainly because I just wanted to enjoy the moment without being distracted by my cameras. I still got enough video using my GoPro Hero 9, iPhone 12 Pro and Canon M6 MarkII to make this simple edit. I took some of the video with my iPhone in the vertical format so they could post to their social media and had to stretch it out here to fit the 16:9 ratio. That's far from optimal but good enough to show just how much fun everyone was having. Big thanks to Mike for getting some of the old crew back on their boards at such a magical place.

Yep still as lame as when I surfed it 25 years ago. Cool to do it once though hope you had a good time.
