Everyone's missing the point. It's not that Surge can't get past walls anymore, it's that you don't have to avoid him all the time. Now you only have to avoid him when he has super, and even then, you have reaction time. On top of that, have you ever played a thrower (or just a low-health brawler) and spawned next to a Surge in Solo Showdown? Well that unfairness will never happen again.

The teleport gadget is only good in showdown and 1% of the time in 3v3 gamemodes. Not only is the jump better than the teleport, but he is also viable on 3v3 because of the first gadget

The surge changes are amazing. Besides his new gadgets being very good they bring much more versatility and balance to surge where as beforehand his entire brawler was based on his gadget. Next they should rebuff his split sp but nerf his max stage splits to deal 25% dmg per split

Basically surge is useless now. I decided to play brawl stars after a few months. And i was like let's use surge and just enjoy. But then i found out i am not jumping through walls. I was like whatt!!! And then i saw now i only have one gadget and i can't see his other gadget. Trust me i am kinda pissed off. I just don't like this. I am fine with anyone else killing me with surge with his warp ability but just removing a good ability of a character just doesn't make sense to me. There are characters in brawl stars who have some broken abilities like Leon invincibility i hate that why not just remove that. Lmao, how about edger an insanely annoying unit why not fix that nooo. Brawl stars just straight up literally killed one of my favourite unit in the game but whatever. Now I don't play brawl stars anymore but i can see some people getting upset over this thing but yea. Just enjoy the game.
