❤Well done Dr Kim. Looking forward to having my husband out of the pain he’s been in for way to long. Thank you for everything 🙏🙌

I’d want you to always video. I’m a firm believer in training new Physicians, Surgical Care RN’s etc. We want as many people learning and observing as possible. Many of these are “Orphan Diseases” that need recognition!

Ok, so you see I did watch your video. Had to leave a comment bc you seemed doubtful yesterday during pre-op visit. Hair looks great btw. Looking forward to being one of those maniac patients and recovering quickly. I apologize in advance for any annoying phone calls post op. Feeling lucky to have access to such a great, crazy doctor with delicate Asian fingers.

Checking in. Watched the video and looking forward to next Thursday, 8:00am, surgery for c5-7 disc replacement. Now, if there is a way I can be awake during the surgery to watch and offer my useless advice? BTW, I am opposite of Nervous Nelly and will likely be asking when I can finally ski again and rent a dirt bike in the playgrounds outside of San Diego!

BTW...for those wondering about flying out to have Dr. Kim do their surgery. I am flying in from FL this Sunday, preop on Mon, surgery on Thurs, and flying out on Saturday. Will try to post back here on how that all goes.

I do not want observers or videos. What if a person has real problems with opposite gender in the room. I have real modesty issues and do not want my intimate areas exposed. To you have the Modicine undergarments developed by SURGEONS or the Covr Undergarments? That would help for the exposure.

Hello, we only record our patients surgeries if we have a written consent from the patient and after the video has been edited we send it out to the patient to get another written consent to post it on KZbin. Thank you!

I used to be a Phlebotomists in the mid 70’s, was the “Trouble *hooter”, I so enjoyed working with the most difficult cases in ER, ICU, Elderly & Addicts. Very rewarding. Often quite poignant as cases beyond help were painful to watch yet those with healing brought such hope & joy. I then transferred to a Children’s Cancer Center . Very little joy in those clinics during those years. Was told day 1, as I was beginning with a young girl Jenny, same age as my Jeni- “DONT grow attached as this child may never return again.” Heartbreaking. I admire your ability to stay strong.Like you I see no other way except to keep on trying and pushing forward.

This is precovid nonsense. I bet it was difficult operating or even functioning as a business these past 2 years. After the government wiped out my businesses a fledgling bed and breakfast and a struggling Black Car service my health basically went downhill. I won't go into detail cuz it's like every ailment that could possibly strike a human has struck me. I just turned 65 last year and I keep whining about the surgery I'm facing but I just want perhaps wishful thinking that I could get a surgeon like you instead of the one I spoke to. She raced through the description of the procedure and then got a little defensive when I said that you could do that with minimally invasive techniques. She wants to open me up like a gutted fish and go into my spine through that a giant six inch incision in my back. Maybe I'll hit the lottery and I can just forget dealing with insurance because I've only had Medicare since October of last year and it's like pulling teeth to get them to pay for things. What good is medicare? As for videos and observers the more the merrier in my opinion. I would love to watch the surgery while it's happening but of course unlike the brain I wouldn't be able to do that. Oh by the way I also have cavernous angiomas in my brain five of them that they could see one very large one in the middle of the right hemisphere which I know has limited my 150 IQ and makes it difficult for me to grasp words that I can see in my head. I am a walking medical encyclopedia. Maybe we can make a deal you give me the surgery and you can use me as a guinea pig for just about anything you want to do?
