My grandmother was one of those people too, Paris. She had her tonsils removed three times because they didn't remove them all the first two times. Hope you are finally feeling better 🙏🙏

Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Could you maybe explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!

It’s wide awake to instantly out lol. It’s not possible to stay awake.

honestly i’ve had this twice and it’s not bad at all, it freaked me out too but they give u the meds through ur iv which u already have in but u just go from being normal awake to just slowly but also kinda fast getting tired like u wanna go to sleep. if u have low iron if feels like when u stand up too fast. just honestly feels like sleep then the next second u wake up in recovery.

That happened to my grandma as well, they didn’t know until she had another surgery and they told her they removed her tonsils, and my grandma and her mum were so confused cause she already got them removed. I have luckily not had mine removed yet, but unfortunately I’ve had tonsillitis like more than a million (no joke) and I’m only 15.

aww no!! It might be best to remove them if you keep having tonsillitis (just dont leave ot too late in life cos it hurts the more you get older haha)

Is it hard to get approval for a tonsillectomy? I've been told I need it like 2 or 3 times now, but I just didn't know if it's easy to get approval for one or if you have to go through a long process first.

I had my tonsils removed at 1 and they must have done it right because I’m 23 now and they haven’t grown back

The anesthesiologist asked me what i want to dream about as long as i’m knocked out. I said about my cats and how we’re going for a walk. At the end i dreamed about my unpaid bills 😂🥲
