@@WTFRCCars I was running way cool at under 85 degrees with a 29t pinion. Tried a 30t in amain and she woke up but stiil stayed cool. More testing to come. Its stays pretty cool in the big pole barn in NY we race in.

Is there much difference in the light weight varient? The V6 advertises 15% more power. When comparing the 13.5 full weight motor to the lighteight varient, the lightweight motor shiws 50kv more. I appre iate your help

Tbh the light weight version makes more sense in the 17.5t class where every bit of weight is important but either will be a good motor

I just got a surpass Rocket V6 21.5. What would you suggest to set the timing to?
@WTFRCCars5 ай бұрын
Run it stock and set your gearing correctly, timing/turbo/boost is just for getting more motor speed if you don't have the correct gearing and more timing will create more motor heat so get the gearing right and then try adding timing if the motor gets too hot then back the timing off :)

Hello mate would this motor fit in my MF-01x chassis ?? Excellent video , thank you for all the awesome information 👍👍👍

As a rule brushless 1:10 motors have different screw hole pattern to brushed tamiya style motors so probably not easy to fit this type of motor, if you check my playlist for the monster beetle and frog the brushless setups I fit in them would work better in a tamiya and they are cheaper for the esc and motor than just the price of this motor :)

Im trying to decide between a 17.5 V6 lite and the new Hobbywing G4R, any opinions? We run in high bite clay. Whip it raceway in Reno Nevada

There won't be any real difference at all just get the one you like the look of :)
@MX-CO9 ай бұрын
@WTFRCCars in that case I'm leaning towards the V6 lite, and for speed controller I'm trying to decide between a hobbywing justsock g3s or a pro elite, just wondering if the price is justified
@WTFRCCars9 ай бұрын
@MX-CO if your running stock class you can't use any of the features of the pro elite as you would have to run in blinky mode so just stick would be better

Funny i was deciding between both these motors too. I had the G4R in my sights but tons of people told me to check out surpass v6 and the numbers didn't lie. It blew my team powers actinium v5 out the water at lower amps. The surpass is much cheaper then the G4R too lol
