Justin Rackley, known as Lakeforkguy in the fishing world, creates fishing and outdoor videos on youtube and other social platforms. Pro tip: if you have an aluminum boat don't use treated wood when replacing bunk boards. the chemicals they use in treating it do not play well with aluminum.

I had the opportunity to fish Lake Fork for a week straight a few years back. I had an absolute blast. I caught the biggest fish of my life there on Main Lake trees. an absolute bucketmouth I caught on a Chatterbait. 10 pounder that came off right as I grabbed him at the boat. didn't even get a picture

We had this happen to us on Ray Roberts yesterday. Destroyed schooling sandies before it hit, when they're are thousands schooling around you it's impossible to keep trying for largemouth. Cool video

I've had some rough weather days in my boat. I went out and it started pouring. 3rd cast 40"muskie. Tried moving spots that's when I realized how much water was in my boat. Plus my motor wouldn't get up to speed. Huge waves got back to the doc, drove home and it stopped raining. Drove back to the lake and had a blast. 7 muskies altogether ranging in 40-46inches. So worth it. I didn't get them all in the boat but watch a fish that size jump 3 feet out of the water is amazing. Until the spinnerbait hits you in the chest. Lol

Just a note for anyone with an aluminum boat, if you insist on using treated lumber make sure that your carpet on your bunks doesn't wear through or you will eventually experience galvanic corrosion on your boat hull from the chemicals used to treat the wood. Untreated is recommended but no issues with treated on fiberglass.

Took the week of the Fourth off to fish with my son and had very little success. Sun was hot and skies were baby blue. Son went later in the evenings with friends and had much better luck. Four different northern Indiana lakes. Had a blast with my son though!

We were caught in the storm on July 10 2019 at about 8 pm. Going north in boat lane. Just before hwy 154 bridge, we were gapping 4 foot waves. Had to turn north east to trailer park just south of hwy 154 public boat ramp. Ive never been more scared in my life! Boat is needing repair. Cap is starting to separate from hull.

If you make your bunks ahead of time, you can replace them with your boat tied to the courtesy dock using your Dewalt 1/4" Impact, & some hex head lag bolts in 30 minutes... Especially a Jon Boat...
