I'm so used to being a tourist (driving, in/out of the car to see the sights, etc), but lately, I've been to places that allowed for walking around the hotel, which feels really strange!---I'm so excited for you both. I had to shut my eyes for the band. I was in my high school band for all 4 years, and now, I get choked up and teary whenever I watch a band, even on TV. (I don't watch the Rose Bowl Parade). I did take my Granddaughters to our local Flower Festival Parade in June, and yes, had to turn away & clench when the bands came past.---Were you happy with the seats? I could share stories about "great scores" but I won't!---And finally, I'd fly anywhere if it wasn't so expensive and interfered with me caring for my 93 y/o Mom. I've flown to Scotland twice, cruised the Caribbean twice, Panama Canal once, Alaska once (plus drove the interior in an RV on that same trip), cruised Down Under (our ship was 2 days ahead of that volcano that blew), cruised the Colombia River, and last fall, cruised the Mississippi with extended stays in St.Louis & Minneapolis!---The only trick I know for cabin pressure is chewing gum. My friend has to take an antihistamine at least an hour before boarding or else she gets in trouble with her inner ear, messes up her use of hearing aids.

Interesting on the ears. Loved the band too amber was a band member in high school and always critiques anyone she watches 😂😂

@@66uniqueantiques Amber, I do the same thing...are the lines straight, and the angles, but I just end up crying at all those 'babies' doing such a good job!

I'm right there with you concerning the ear popping. Mine never pop going up or at 30-35,000 feet. My problem is on the descent; I'm almost deaf upon landing, and for a good 2 hours after landing. Nothing ever worked for me; from chewing gum to stretching my jaw to medication. I just put up with it. 🤨😒😬😮💨☹️

Well damn! 😂 ear plugs helped but didn’t cure anything on the way home
