This was one of the most emotionally impactful gaming experiences I've ever had. I finished the game in just three (really long) sittings, I was just so hooked.

This trailer and its song really made me hooked, i listened to it on loop for half an hour in the background, then came across a glowing review on twitter and finally bought the game. I am not finished with it yet - but this is such a stellar game, exactly what i expected - introspective, melancholic, personal sci fi tale. At moments i completely forget that it is an indie game because its art direction genuinely carries it a tier above its weight. Amazing UPD. forgot to update this comment - obviously i finished the game, and its a narrative masterpiece i still think about often half a year later.

"and it feels very far from me..." with a shot of [REDACTED]'s parents. i went into the game more or less blind and came out crying. what a brilliant piece of art. by focusing its lens on one person and iterations thereof and prior, it also captured nigh on every facet of the human condition. i know i sound pretentious-- this game is anything but. it's so fucking real.

One of the best narratives I've ever experienced in a game. I'll be thinking about it for a long time. Thank you for making it. I hope it gets all the attention it deserves.

I went in blind and it's seriously one of my favouite games and experiences I've ever had. Usually when I'm emotional at a game, it's at it's ending, and I tell people omg it's such a great game and I cried!! This one, after a certain point after Chapter 3 I'd say, I cried every time I picked up the controller. Everything tied in so perfectly together, I'm honestly in awe it could be made so well at all. I've raved about it to all my friends and it's the only game I've told people they HAVE TO PLAY IT. Gut wrenching and heartfelt.I can't wait to replay it again knowing what I know about the world now.Makes me wanna make a video essay or something about it even though I've never done it before. I have so many thoughts. Studio Sunset is one to watch out for !!! I came out of it with this overall glow of revelling in how lucky I am to get to experience this narrative. It's that good.

I feel like I've lived through an entire lifetime after this game. It's seeped into the crevices of my dreamspace and I find myself revisiting it in my sleep from time to time. In my 30+ years of playing videogames, this is the first game to really do that.

Phenomenal track in this trailer. Reminds me of Youth Lagoon from back in the day, and really caught me off guard. Props to the artists that put together the trailer

Just finished it and I really liked it, but makes me wonder can this game even be profitable? I mean it is a very very niche game with not much publicity
@FellowTraveller6 ай бұрын
It's actually doing very well, selling above our projections and it's had some great press coverage and reviews. The game was also supported by the Canadian Media Fund. Government funding programs like that are really valuable for innovation and providing sources of funding that are not commercially motivated or primarily commercially motivated.

What do you mean, this game is a masterpiece, independently of its niche people allways want a good story.

happy to learn that the game had a sales success! Still, it's not getting as much coverage as it deserves. Really looking forward to an expanded edition (or something like that) just so there will be a reason to remind everyone about the game.

@@FellowTraveller It happens often - not often enough - but when I rolled the credits on this game and saw the government grants listed it made me extremely happy. I'm glad the studio was given the chance to tell this story, this way
