Tie it to the dock before you even launch it. That’s brilliant! I launch alone sometimes too and always tie to my truck. I’ll have to try doing it that way. Love your videos!

Always great to try something new. Caught my first Sablefish a couple weeks ago. Can't wait till the ocean calms down to try it again.

Great video, Chris. Misery loves company, I guess. I've had several days like yours of crabbing this year. As you mentioned, the weather has been a problem. Hoping for something better soon.

A very informative and interesting video. Hagfish slime is defense against predators. If bitten they inject it into the predators mouth. It expands into gills or blocks air way and and can kill the predator. You a capable and confident sailor to go out solo!!

i know right, majority of the packers fans were friendly. After the game a couple got cocky so i let them know we are 5-0 last 5 playoff matchups and have more super bowls :) Thanks for watching

That was interesting Chris. I’m in American Canyon and have been fishing/crabbing/hunting Northern California for….a long time. Maybe we can hook up some day.

Very interesting indeed. At what point or how high of the sea is when you say let’s not go?

I think 7ft is the cutoff. Wind is a huge factor and the frequency of the wave.

interesting... i think it has to do with the floor bottom. you get crab too or no?
@DieHardFishing4 сағат бұрын
A lingcod would eat that in a heartbeat!

i know, would be fun to try. Need to see if I can catch the hagfish on hook and line. Doing the commercial way you still have to "land" them before you could use them.

What if you tied the trap to a cleat and dragged it behind the boat on the way back to the launch? Would that clean it off?
@ChrisPfish2Сағат бұрын
that would. It would put a lot of strain on the line. I dont think I would trust the cheap 100ft rope I added. It was rated at 150lb. But good idea!

You know I like how you check things out before you take off of the boat just like people doing planes I mean you made sure was greased up and everything you topped everything off just to make sure I like that safety first and I also like was it looks like you have diamond plate aluminum Anna underneath the front of the boat I like that too that’s what I would do if I had a boat I never thought about when I did have a boat years ago but that was years ago pretty cool dude

You are now Spider-Man webs. You gonna learn how to use it, though a lot of practice, shooting webs at her hands like that.
