they're studying for the PHYSICS OLYMPIADS not SCHOOL exams

frankly quite a stupid take. i know several of these people and was at the bpho awards dinner in april, as well as 2 other olympiad camps. a levels are trivial for most of these people, and in fact most oxbridge candidates should find the subjects they are studying fairly trivial. olympiads are orders of magnitude harder than a levels. furthermore, nobody mentioned studying 8 hours a day.

They are that good because of 1 reason and 1 reason only. Their brains are wired differently. All the (good) physicists ive met at university in Germany where (special) and not ordinary. All have some social problems in their own way. The normal physics students are far different.... but they will always have a hard time in physics and math. So remember, if you feel dumb in physics and math, the fault is not on your side alone if your not lazy.

This sounds like blaming genetics for a lack of hard work. They can still be this smart even if their brains aren't wired different, they just have to put in the work. It's still gonna be hard, but it's not like these people just walked in and get full marks. They had to try their best for it (except that one guy who said you don't have to prepare lol, he scares me)

@@dgcfgvvgb6555 Absolutelly not. Genetics is a HUGE factor. How you are raised is also huge. But sure, being lazy is also HUGE. If you did not study Math or Physics, you will never understand how strange some peoples brains work, its like the solutions are floating infront of their eyes.
