Saw a shirt in a photo thatI want to find. It says," if you can be anything, be kind". Says it all. Went to the market with my brother in law who recentky had back surgery, so I'm his heavy lifter. At the frozen food section he was looking for different burritos and they were all messed up, others having put things not back where they belonged. As he looked through them he straightened them all out, putting like things together then into the correct boxes. Another shopper came by and also was looking for particular combinations and complimented him on fixing the section. He asked her what combinations she liked and what she was looking for and the three of us had a nice conversation. Made our day.

I love that you are accepting of those with disabilities of varying degrees! I myself am a 30-year-old woman with Cerebral Palsy who works at a movie theater in my hometown. A lot of people just see my wheelchair but they don’t see the person within at and we need to continue to spread awareness of those with not just visible disabilities but also those with invisible disabilities as well.

He needed to get away from the food at home. Too many snacks, donuts, fried foods, etc. He looks great! Summer also gained weight while living there. I worry about Abbie and her wonderful parents with all that extra weight. Type 2 diabetes is around the corner, and maybe cardio problems. Abby needs you, so take some time to think about the diet. I doubt you have a guardian as all of us have had people come in and out of our lives who say they will be a guardian and then they have life changes and are no longer available.

I've been a follower of your content for quite a while now and I just felt I needed to say this: I initially had concerns that my youngest son (he was a baby at the time) was autistic. Not knowing anything at all about it I searched on KZbin and found you guys. Currently I am still working with therapists and doctors to see if there is a diagnosis of autism due to my concerns still being concerns (he is 3.5 now). I must thank you for all the insight you have given me. Alot of the stuff I learn from listening to you talk about autism I have found quite useful in helping my son especially when he is struggling and I cannot thank you enough ❤️ Side note: the squinty suspicious look Abby gave Nala was hilarious 🤣 she cracks me up 🥰❤️

Well said let people who can speak for themselves let you know choose how they want to be referred to whether person first or condition first. As long as someone is kind then it makes a world of difference. I read a blog recently from a friend who goes through the same stuff as me and this was what part of the blog was about. She shared how it's about intent and how you say things in a kind manner and that's how we learn rather than just telling others they can't ask questions or demanding someone answer all your questions about their disability but kind to one another and understand that we're not always going to feel like answering for various reasons and on the other hand if done in kindness then don't feel like everyone is being mean in asking questions. Those who ask questions in kindness could very well be seeking understanding and want to support others in the same boat.

Hi, when I had a major back surgery for my Scoliosis. We had this cat the minute I got back home she wouldn’t leave my side and she even slept at the foot of my bed. So yes cats are definitely wanted to be around people. I love how every time Isaiah comes home,Cila first reaction is shut up 😂 My opinion I don’t like being called “special needs” it makes me feel more like I’m not one of the “normal” people.
@teresamariner42382 жыл бұрын
You are unique! Never understood people trying to be who they aren't, copying someone else, and never being happy. Learned a long time ago that if you try to be someone else you will be a 2nd rate them. You can only be a first rate you so be the best you you can be. Everyone has challenges, they just don't always show if it's not visible. Asthma, lung problems, heart issues, etc. Give your kitty a pet and treat for me! And yes, you are right, Cilla's first reaction is "shut up"!! Love it when Isaiah surprises the family, and us!! So sweet how he loves and interacts with his parents and Abbie. Boy she'll be surprised when she wakes up!! Hugs n love! Have a blessed week!

I so agree with autism awareness and acceptance. I have autism and made the mistake of telling the people I work with at a therapy center. Once my coworkers knew about my autism they spoke slower to me and repeated things twice. I thought this was just a fluke since it happened once but then it happened again and again. I knew they didn’t understand how to speak to me. My coworkers and my boss spoke to me just fine before they knew I had autism. I wasn’t treated any differently before. Now I don’t tell anyone at work that I have autism. Mary

Some sing out loud on the telephone wire and some just clap their hands or paws or anything they got now..Listen that’s note that the little birds sings on the melody or the high not ringing and the hoot owl hollers over everything and the porcupine talks to himself “ this is only part of the song …but says we all belong here on this turning world …and we all have something to offer!
