So if this is Nascar Spleef, what about continuing the theme with Monster Truck Spleef where the cars have the monster truck wheels and the spud guns are placed so they shoot a really beefy line (still drivable over perpendicular thanks to the monster truck tires, but other tires could have some trouble) and only if possible also some stunt element to the map (not sure what's possible within Scrap Mechanic's mechanics and without introducing loopholes to be safe from the carton boxes, though. I was thinking just ramps on the sides you can use to 180 degrees steer you back into the map, not sure if that works as well as I have in mind though).

If possible, maybe a super fast spleef ? Use very fast spleef vehicles, making the focus more on trying to manage your own speed and trying to keep control. The cut not being a clean cut makes this concept even better, in my opinion, as this makes it so you'd have to go over your line a couple times if you want to cut out a hole and the speed making this slightly difficult as keeping control will be hard causing for a bit of chaos and hopefully a lot of entertainment and fun

How about a Tractor-Spleef? You could build like some small, really old tractors with like only the front wheels (built below the fromt of the tractor with like a T-pipe and only one bearing above to steer, but one bendy pipe section back to dampen out tipping) powered for more steering and kind of a spudplow in the back, that is angled like 20-30° to the driving line. The map could have a nice fence around and maybe the fields, so that a ringout on the sides is barely possible (not saying impossible intended by knowing the game physics xD)

To add to the Nascar theme - have an 'automatic' 4th spleef car, painted white - the pace car. Have it start when the level's started/switch flipped, somehow, from the other side of the map, to add more shenanigans?

Make Kan's can really good and Everyone else really Bad like if you don't turn off the witch after 30s or 60 it was blow up. Kan's car on spawn challenge spears that will also my the other cars bowl up. The goal is to survive angst the longest and get 2 wins before kan's gets 4 or 5 wins.

Since you have two games this week I watched them both and had the thought how would a hide and spleef map work, but it came to me, a large Battle Ship based map that you throw the grenades across a concealing wall

What if you guys actually made racing tracks where you win either but being the last one standing or actually beating the race? Since being fast would affect the spudgun's effectiveness in cutting solid lines, you could add some explosives under the track, an actual button that serves as a power-up that drops explosives, maybe you could shoot something on the track to activate logic or something. Maybe activate some spudguns or close a quick path so you get an advantage like in Speedrunners.

Idea: Every time you get to a cut, the car reverses tor ten seconds. I mean, put a sensor on front of the car pointing down, and every time it "sees nothing" (you get to a line or hole), the car goes backwards for ten seconds...

I've been wondering about this for a while, why don't you use the Glitch welded fast spot guns, that way you can increase the speed of the vehicles, have the spot guns shoot from the same location, and still make a perfect Trail.

Would it be possible in Scrap Mechanic to make the turning change from only left to only right during a run? Imagine the craziness if you are setting yourself up for an easy left turn and then it swtiches to only right.

you make your choice at the start between left or right turning & then you cant change your choice. this could be done with two button-to-switch one for left & one for right with a button with a Or gate to an Not gate so the button is only making the choice if bolth button-to-switch are off
