Oh you have no idea how many memories this brought me! I lost my hubby of 40 years to cancer two years ago and my very best memory was Christmas of 1985. He had wanted a toyota 4x4 for a long time and I had a little job from home and went to the dealer in Tucson and got a 1986 truck. I had his father help me hide it and made a big bow and poster and made him do a scavenger hunt! Our 3 yo named it "Chuck" truck and he put 340K miles on it (in almost every state). His best friend drove Chuck away but he is taking care of him and sends pictures of his adventures. A very Happy Birthday Allie! Great job Trent!

For me, 25 was the worst because a friend reminded me that I had reached A QUARTER OF A CENTURY! Thirty was a breeze after that. And then, life begins at 40, so no sweat. I'm 65 now, and wouldn't mind being 30 again. LOL

Well, that's one of the most heart-warming posts I've seen in a while! I suspect it's a day y'all won't ever forget. (Specially since it's recorded on video for your posterity to watch down the road.) Good job, buddy! You took what could have been a rough day and made it a great one. Some of us could probably take a lesson from it. BTW, we're on our third 4Runner. Just love them. 300,000 mile vehicles. Our current one has 265,000 and I'm just now thinking about replacing it. It runs fine and we drive it anywhere, even road trips, so I'm not worried about it. But still thinking.....you won't be sorry you bought yours.
