68-year-old momma here. I had a c section with my first and eight years later gave birth to my second son in what we refer to as a natural birth. Both of my boys weighed just over ten pounds at birth. My number two is Robert William, and we call him Billy because his father's name is Robert as well. I cried watching this video. Tears of joy. Joy for your experience and joy for the memory of my experience.

I’ve been waiting patiently for this episode since the announcement of the pregnancy. There’s nothing more beautiful and exciting than to witness such an amazing miracle. Having been in law enforcement, I had the unexpected privilege of delivering two babies, one being during the eye of hurricane HUGO in the middle of the highway. I handled it like a champ, THEN it was time for my own to be delivered. I cried like a baby and became very emotional because of the pain my wife suffered during birth. Thank God for my Mother in law was in the delivery room. Needless to say that I’m honored that you shared this experience with us all from around the globe. Needless to say, I whimpered with every push and began to bawl with his entry into the world. Congratulations, Congratulations, Congratulations !!!

I have cried & cried. When you said that about your mom and Jennifer, the dam broke. I don’t know what’s after this life, but I just know your momma was there with you, encouraging you and loving you. I can’t wait to see the adventures of Leo and Billy.

I needed a two-thumbs-up button. I had a natural birth 52 years ago (in a hospital). Thanks you so much for sharing this with all of us. Trent, you were such a good support partner, and Allie I am at a loss for words with what a good job you did and your being willing to share this with your viewers. Billy and Leo are so lucky to have you two as parents, and Jennifer as such a great support person/part of the family.

I am so happy that you got the have this baby the way you wanted, and Trent it's so great that you named him after your grandpa. Family is so important, and it's clear Jennifer is a huge part of yours. I hope you have been enjoying Billy, he's a beautiful baby. My tears started when Leo was stroking Allie's arm. I cry every time I hear that guttural wail on the last push. I’ve had 4 natural births and I’m so happy you were able to have a home birth. Thank you for normalizing this. Home birth is such a beautiful thing and if you can do it, do it! Nothing better than having your baby at home and then settling into home with baby. 🥰

We did a home birth with our second daughter in 1979 using the Bradley Method. Had our doctor and her nurse there and everything went perfect. I got to catch her coming out and I cut the cord. About 8 hours later our doctor asked if we were up to coming to a meeting of people interested in using her and we showed up and it was really cool.

Both our births have been natural at home too! It was especially awesome with the 2nd one, our first slept through it and woke up to a new sibling!

@jerryd1813 yes! The Bradly Method is how we delivered our 3 boys, but we did it in the hospital. No IV, no meds at all. (Our 2nd & 3rd are fraternal twins.) Best experiences ever!

82 year old mom of two here who is still crying from joy. I’m feeling we are unbelievably blessed to share this home birth. Really, Allie, you are to be respected for your love and strength. You are the team leader, there is no doubt. Same respect for Trent and fortunate little Leo who is growing into a very fine young gentleman.

Allie, you are amazing! I cried through the entire thing. Your mom held him for as long as she could, and then sent him on his way with her sweet love. Trent, don’t sell yourself short. You didn’t just hold her hand, it’s one of the hardest things to stand by the one that you love while in they’re in pain and know that there’s nothing you can do but be there for them. You did an amazing job as well! Leo, you have a big job ahead being the big brother, but you will do well. I cried doubly hard while I watched him rubbing your arm like his dada was doing, he’s already a sweet, loving, caring person. Welcome little Billy! Congratulations to all of you!🎉❤

I am a father of 4 and I only got to see a glimpse of my oldest being born naturally. I wasn’t there for my second(long story) and my two others were both C section. I am so awestruck by the miracle of childbirth and the incredible beings that you are as women. I can’t say anything that would even scratch the surface as to how incredible women are. You give up so much to be our wives, our mothers, and you are all to be leased and highly exalted. Thank you for sharing your story with us all. Love you guys.

My 86 year old mother and I just watched this. I cried through the entire video. I've never seen anything more beautiful in my life . I love your family as if you all were my own. I've watched you from the beginning of your journey, and it brings me such joy. When Leo was soothing you, it took me over the top. Trent was so loving and calm....so beautiful! Jennifer is a great blessing for all. We love you guys. Even if we've never met, you ARE a part of my family. Congratulations. ❤ 🤗

My feet dropped through the floor when I saw, as a once upon a lifetime ago Midwife, you attempting an underwater, Home birthing process. Bravi. How wonderful. This method of delivery was coming into Vogue just as I was starting my midwife education. Congratulations on your decision and your endurance. I can't help but get all choked up.

Like everything else, you did this with family & friends, including all of us, teary-eyed, smiling, amazed with your courage, and feeling in the midst of your love, as a couple. You both did this and earned this. ❤
