I just love this kind of videos, and I think you're both doing ab awesome job as parents to include the girls in what they want❤ You can see and feel the love between all of you,and putting the girls first is so great, I just love it so much. Do what feels good for your mental health, that's all that matters.

I love the room makeovers- I agree have all your kids on the same floor as you and Ben, particularly when they still young. You can convert the upstairs loft into another room with double barn doors, that way you got the option of it being a bedroom/playroom. Particularly when Clara will need a room next to transition in, when she's 6 months old and having the older 3 girls in one room would be very crowded. In the future later on you should move Ella and Avrey down to basement when they are teenagers at least!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Make the wall into a giant chalk board. You can outline it with trimming . they can draw on it during the winter. All you need is chalk paint.

Oh love, you don’t need to justify anything. As parents you need to do what is right for the family. Personally I loved having our children close to us. The practical side of parenting with your children on the same floor makes sense….when they are sick, saying goodnight, putting things away (clothes, toys etc). Having the girls in rooms together or close means they get to build great relationships with each other. As a mama, I would be scared having my children two floors down from me too, we instinctively listen out for them too…sick, nightmares, sad…. But also safety and home security. When they are older, it is different and they will let you know when the time is right to move them to a different floor but that’s a future thing. They are so lucky to have each other and gorgeous parents who have helped them become close friends. Not all sisters are that lucky. ❤

It might be nice on the extra wall in Addie's to do some wall stickers. That way, they can be easily changed as the girls grow up or rooms get switched. As Addie loved her spinkle sheets, maybe a sprinkle wall could be cute but simple! They do sprinkle wall stickers amazon 🙂

Clara is looking a lot like Ella ☺️😊 To me they look like Ben a lot. All your girls are so adorable. I agree about keeping the girls upstairs with you while they’re still so little. It’s safer and give you both peace of mind. Nothing wrong with sharing rooms and I think while kids are little they even prefer it. I think it helps them feel safer, and it’s cozy and also fun. I don’t think they need separate rooms until they’re quite older. Older tweens into teen years. I would absolutely choose to do the same thing 👍🏼

I was one that though why not put the oldest in her own room rather than having one of the younger ones in their own. But if they personally don’t want that it makes sense. Why not put bunk beds in the bigger of the 2 rooms, and maybe put the girls together and have the smaller room as a nursery until the baby has more of a similar sleep schedule? 😊

You have four girls all close together girl you are Golden! I don’t care what the Internet says about your girl sharing a bedroom that is a stupidest concept I ever heard! Katie mentioned in a video a while back that the current office is too close to the front door, for safety reasons they probably won’t turn the office into a bedroom
