Eagle Rising adds specific units that increase the morale of units in the said army, Romans, for example, have the Signifer and Aquilifer, if I recall correctly each unit of said type adds a fixed 5+ Morals. Parties have a max of 2 Signifers and 2 Aquillifers totaling 20 moral boosts, However, these units stack in armies that have multiple parties, meaning more units in different parties stack up to a max of 100 morals. Killing those units removes their moral boost making the enemy fleee faster. Discovered this the hard way in my campaign...

9:05 the majority of pre-Victorian combat was not really about who killed the most but about who ran first. And the majority of ancient and medieval soldiers were killed by cavalry when they fled instead of being killed by infantry in battle.

Not only did he achieve a new highest bodycount per episode, beating episode 4 (143) in the process, he also set a new high for bodycount per battle with the first battle delivering a staggering 64 kills and K.O.s. Also, Melita finally broke into the double digits for her career, congrats for that!

Excellent Episode and series mate! It would be cool to have villains in the series from the empire and from the other houses of Carthage voiced (HANNO II, Leader of the barka family was against the campaign as it didn't profit him, and his interest wasn't aligned with HANNIBAL'S). MAGO, a friend to Hannibal in the Carthaginian senate was trying to secure him more funds, supplies, and troops for his war in Italy! All of that would add another layer to the story. Keep it coming mate

I loved seeing Hannibal call Marqod out. No wonder he's been assigned grunt duties. I don't know if it's possible anymore, but requesting leave so you can recruit forces to gift to Marqod would be a good idea. It seems to me he lacked archers and cavalry in his war with the 'whatever' imperium. There are all those parties of hunters. Can they be recruited? The sooner Marqod has more forces the sooner he'll get back to Iberia and the more kills, I mean tiers, Hannibal will make.

oh and divide your archers and have them follow you through a safe route to the back of the enemy for a disadvantageous battle, this has helped me countless times, they just let lose and then desserters are picked on too - love to see it. Ditch Milita

My highest kill was 56 in a battle, I had just 90 men left after a battle and had to first go cut down the enemy to size. I had my shield up and poked at the men with my polearm was gruesome (especially since my pc lags) and I had to keep moving from side to sides to draw the men back. when I was one hit away, ordered the others to charge... I won the battle, it was thrilling.

I had the craziest thing happened in my play through of bannerlord so far! So I got to the end where the conspiracy against me reached full strength or whatever... It got to the point where all three split fragments of the empire tried to team up against STURGIA that's the faction I sided with! SO... ALL THREE FRAGMENTS OF THE EMPIRE WE'RE AGAINST STURGIA! And then... pretty much the entire world declared war on the empire! and I'm like... oh my Gods it's like Roman history was put in this damn game! We wiped out the northern empire first! The southern empire only has one settlement left currently! But the Western empire is proving to be a thorn in my side! Even though it effects my reputation with everyone negatively... I've been doing tasks around both "STURGIA and BATTANIA" so not everybody thinks I'm a giant asshole... for going around executing all of the empire vassals I can get my hands on! and most of the mercenaries that side with them! I think... if we wipe out all three of the empire's eventually... I kind of want to wage war against the khuzait's next! Or... Maybe VLANDIA...

Hello, really loving the series so far! But if I may be so blunt, this episode was a little bit on the weaker side. The majority was spent running around chasing Marqod or beating people up with a stick. Not quite engaging. I believe once you become a noble and acquire a holding of your own with your own army to fight with, people will be pretty interested. Iberia seems to be the perfect place to start your base of power. May Hannibal beat up many many Romans and drink their wine in vengeance!

Yeah, I considered including the parts I did here for those reasons. I think it served as a build up ramp to some of the story reasons that will occur in our next part. Hopefully I’m right and it pays off!
