I think it's all about the kind of tricks that can be done nowadays like freestyle motocross but that will probably come soon on a Surron as well, and he'll probably be at the forefront of it all when it happens. When you a land hard on the Surron and it shuts off, it could be the tip over sensor activating. The tip over sensor is removable, so you could try that.

1st off I bet that dude is the same kind of guy they had taken his kids to askatepark to play on it like it a slide park, 2nd I went full face after a close call also. 3rd his bike is shutting off do to the tilt sensor, mine did the same thing on big hits, so just remove that sensor and it's no long a problem. Thanks homie! It can be a few issues! I’d take out all of your sensors (tilt, kickstand, brakes) and then if that doesn’t solve the issue it could be your battery moving around if you don’t have it secured. We usually just stuff foam on the sides of our battery to keep it in place.

I agree to a certain extent. I actually have more control on my ebike. It has 2 brakes and I’m not moving near as fast as I would be if I were on my BMX bike without brakes. Skatepark etiquette is key if you don’t want your kids getting hit. I’ve seen multiple skaters, Bmx riders, even roller skaters plow over kids just because they’re running around the park with no etiquette. And their parents are usually just sitting on a bench letting them free roam. When I take my ebike to the skatepark I’m extra aware and I’m always keeping an eye out for my surroundings.

Prior to having kids, I had zero regard for kids and saw them as hindrances to my fun time. After having kids, I'm very protective and proactive for my kids (and others). They are so fragile and the smallest accident can have lifelong consequences. Ain't no way some dumbass is going to take away my kids' quality of life

I go a lot faster and don’t have brakes so it’s harder for me to stop and maneuver around people that are in my way. Little kid's brains are garbage, they'll stroll out into the street in front a cement mixer like it's nothing. You gotta treat them like caffinated squirrels, particularly when you realize that their parents obviously don't know skate park etiquette (dude was sitting on a rideable feature for god's sake). Everyone views the world through the lens of their own experience. As a young man, little kids were the worst. When I got a dog, I thought dogs should be allowed in restaurants. When my kids were young I thought that I should be able to take them to the friggin movies. Now that my dog is dead (rip Bacon) and my kids are older my perspectives have changed yet again. Hell, in this thread I can see every stage of my evolution represented by folks who are currently living it. If I had any advice for ya it'd be to be nicer to your bones (I have a f'd up back, neck, knees, ankles, crooked/broken fingers, etc.) and try to think ahead. You smoke a little kid on these electric motorcycles and the best case scenario is this channel gets shut down. Worst case, you're getting cuffed.

@@tallonpemberton just don't take the surron to the skate park, or like the guy said, go one no one is there. Sure if your BMX doesn't have brakes, the surron is gonna stop faster, but that's a poor rationalization. It doesn't matter how much you look out for the groms on scooters, they aren't looking out for you and don't understand etiquette when dropping in. 20 years ago when I rode BMX, what few public skate parks there were, most didn't allow BMX bikes or required you to ride pegless. The only good outdoor park was Mable Davis, but depending on the crowd there it was 50/50 that you would get kicked out. We did have a few badass indoor parks, one in N. Austin and one out towards Georgetown, RIP. At the end of the day, the surron is a dirt bike and has no business at the skate park(ripping that pump track sure looked fun though). Doing so may get all bikes banned from the skatepark. All it takes is a handful of pissed off parents to push more legislation on e-bikes that will ruin the fun for everyone.

Yeah. If your bike is shutting off, but its still on, its definitely a throttle, homie. I have the same problem with mine. I thought it was a controller, a motor, but really was just that. especially if you still have the stocks, you're on throttle. They cannot take a beat. And you fall a couple of times. or if you pinch the wires at all,
