Why was the cycles turn 2 shots a super 6? It didn't move, so mods would be soft cover, small team. 5+ should have been the roll unless im missing somethingl. The target is possibly at point blank range as well.

Mortar spotters always count as being down unless another order is assigned to them. The bocage provides hard cover and the small team modifier still add up to a super six needed, even with the point blank bonus.

One more thing that got my attention!: I’ve never seen the rolling of order dice, it must be a solo play mechanism, yeah? I’m very intrigued, as I’ve historically always been geographically challenged when it comes to playing with actual opponents. Do you have any advice along those lines? Pros& cons of rolling order dice ?

Haha, no the rolling of order dice in the video is just a contrivance to make drawing them a bit more dramatic. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks for the interest! Filmora 12 is used for all the various effects featured in the videos on the channel. I hope you check out the other cinematic battle reports as this is our very first video, and we've improved a fair amount since then.

Great report and narrative! Quick question, where did you get your bocage and hedgerows from? They look great!!

Thanks! Both were scratch built by me. Styrofoam, glue, fine gravel, paint, flock and various plastic trees and lichen were used to make the bocage. As for the hedges, they were just chopped up foam stuffing glued to pop sticks and painted.

As funny as it sounds, in my head canon paras have managed to recruit very smart country side animals into their ranks (so smart, in fact, that those animals have mastercrafted their masquerade skills so well that their disguises fall upon their deaths)... my reasoning comes from your editing on casualty count with bodies piling up. 😂
